I just recently had to put my little guy down... after a long stretch of heart break, research and careful consideration, I decided to move on with purchasing a new little buddy to add to my family, and I found school house pets. I am from Airdrie, so after speaking with the owner, I was more than willing to make the hour long drive to come purchase a new baby beardie for my family! I love him so much already and he looks so happy and healthy and I couldn't have asked for a better experience with such knowledgeable and hands on owners, and to show me how much they love their animals she looked quite sad to see the little guy leave!!! They will forever get my business in the future with purchasing more reptiles! I am so so so happy with my decision to drive the hour to see them! Absolutely phenomenal! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

The reptile enclosures are immaculate, clean and beautifully designed. Jasmine just designed an amazing enclosure for my new Leechianous that I purchased from them. The reptiles are top quality and the owners are extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. I have been going to SHP for many years, have purchased several reptiles, enclosures, supplies and make weekly trips for crickets, worms and frozen foods. I have been very pleased with all of my purchases. I highly recommend School House Pets to everyone.

My boyfriend and I had been in the market searching for the right fit, when we met Rango (now our chameleon). What made the decision even easier was the School House Pets is a great support system and is well connected within the community. The animals are loved and cared for, and the owner knows all personalities and temperaments. If you are looking for a pet and willing to learn what may be better for your lifestyle this is a great store to visit. Plus the store has a lot of awesome merchandise for pets you may already own. Customer service is top notch. But as always - take your time when making the decision to purchase a pet, go in with a budget and realistic about the type of lifestyle you have in conjunction with the pet you want, and lifespan (you are committed to the years). If you don't know, just ask the owners. They can help you with all of your questions.

A few minutes of chatting with Jasmine yielded several great ideas of things we could try at varying price points. Turned out the problem was our enclosure/terrarium (too reflective, not enough cover/clutter). There was never a hard sell and we went with the solution and price point we were comfortable with, and have had excellent results! Our python is feasting once again! Jasmine was very generous with her time and knowledge and it made all the difference for these struggling new snake owners. Thanks SHP!
