About Savino Pizzeria
For a century and a half, the pizza makers of Naples (or “pizzaioli” as they are known in Italy) have been producing unique mouth-watering pizzas using the highest quality, freshest ingredients available. It is estimated nearly 7 million of these pizzas are produced in Italy every day.
Growing up in an Italian family, great food was always on the go; and the days we made bread and pizza were charged with almost insane excitement around my family dinner table.
Our goal is to produce true Neapolitan pizza with traditional ingredients (and maybe a few “not-so-traditional”) from the authentic forno oven in our food truck that will invoke that same “insanity” around your dinner table, too!

Service was excellent and they even customized it for me based off a dietary restriction. Would give more than 5 stars if I could!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing authentic Italian style pizza. Having tried pizza in Naples in the past, this pizza is very very similar to it (Note pizza is not cut just like in Italy, that's the way to eat it!). Quality toppings and sauces, no cheap products. Super friendly staff. Will be coming back for sure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Savino is everything a pizzzeria should be. The service is fantastic, the ingredients are fresh, and the pizzas are cooked to perfection in a wood fire pizza oven. This is the place to go in Calgary for neapolitan pizza, but even if that's not usually what you like or if you don't even really know what that is, you don't want to miss Savino Pizzeria.
P.S. The saporito bread is a remarkable treat. I snacked on it on the way home to hold myself over. Will get it every single time going forward.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are spending your money anywhere else, you're making a big mistake. Savino's is the one and only true authentic Neapolitan pizza here in Calgary. Waiting to get our pizzas at the food truck, we were overwhelmed with the scents of burning Applewood logs and fresh fior de latte mozzarella, and we got to see the cherry tomatoes that grow right in his garden. I love his pizza so much and would have it every day if I could. Thank you Savino!!

The Neapolitan style pizza is baked to perfection, it's hard to believe everything gets made in a backyard food truck. The quality is unmatched by anything prepared in a restaurant. The House Special is delicious and easily one of the best pizzas in the city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wait! WHAT? This pizza just came out of a food truck? As a huge fan of traditional Neapolitan pizza I was excited to see a place I hadn’t heard of so close by. Absolutely amazing!! Just as good if not better than the only certified authentic Neapolitan pizza place in Calgary. Sticking to proper authenticity they don’t cut your pizza, which I love. Soft chewy crust with just the right amount of char. Other than awesome pizza, I get to directly support one of my neighbors who operates their food truck on their property when not at food truck events. I love it!!! Now if only another neighbor would do this with tacos!

The dough and crust cooked perfectly in a brick fired oven with very fresh high quality toppings.
Was a trek from NE but well worth the drive. I was surprised the directions took me into a residential back alley… ever heard of Alley Burger? This is back alley pizza! HIGHLY recommended!

The food truck pickup in the back alley is a little weird. But I’d be doing it again!
