★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The owner (I assume howie) was so great. Awesome guy through and through. The pizza, spectacular. Picked up a pizza and a couple beers, it was super quick and everything was amazing. Staff was incredibly kind. Will definitely go back soon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time I've been here and moved to the area roughly two years ago. The lady who answered the phone was very polite and took my order effectively.
From the outside the shop - to me - looks so small, inside they have - for a small family owned place - I consider massive back/cooking area that appeared in clean and orderly condition. Their take home frozen pre made food is in a freezer that is easily accessible and I was acknowledged pretty quickly by one of the cooks who communicates effectively with me to figure out which order was mine and who would help me with payment.
The young man behind the counter was busy but when he handled my payment it was quick and easy.
As mentioned in the photo the pizza was hot, not crazily greasy and cooked. I think it could have used a few more minutes but it was not super doughy or dripping oil like chains would let happen. I am happy with my order and would probably get another pizza and maybe a side dish from here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Last night I tried Howie's pizza for the first time and absolutely loved it!! I just moved into the neighborhood and I'm super happy to find a great pizza place! I got the Donair pizza and it was absolutely fantastic! My favorite part is that the crust did not taste like cardboard, it was delicious!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had to try “Calgary’s best gluten-free pizza” after reading all the glowing reviews. We tried the bacon cheeseburger and the garlic cheese wedges and weren’t disappointed! Picture is missing a piece because I couldn’t wait.... ?
Also really loved that I told the server I’d be waiting in my car, thinking I’d re-enter the store once it was ready, but he brought it out to me. Such thoughtful service ❤️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I work for Amazon and deliver to Howie here all the time. Today he gave me a slice as a thank you for delivering. It was my first time having it and my God is that crust good. I worked in restaraunt for the last 8 years before working for Amazon and spent a year of that at a pizza place. These guys make some damn good crust and everyone there is so friendly. I would highly recommend this hole in the wall place to anyone. Great job guys. Keep it up!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I haven't had Howies in years and years. Now that I am back in the neighborhood, I figured i would give it another try. Absolutely amazing. The thin crust is wonderful, and all the toppings are delicious. You will be my go to for sure. Can't wait to try the lasagna next order!!
