At Save-On-Foods, going the extra mile is nothing new. Actually, we’ve gone above and beyond in all areas of our business since we started, way back in 1915. Originally, we were called Overwaitea Food Group because of the founder’s practice of selling 18 ounces of tea for the price of 16, and the name “overweight tea” stuck. Fast forward over 100 years and that name has changed, but we’re still known for delivering extra value to our customers. Today our company is best known for its most prominent banner—Save-On-Foods—but also includes PriceSmart Foods, Urban Fare and Bulkley Valley Wholesale.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Save On Foods is a great grocery store. This is Regina's second Save On Foods location. This grocery store carries many local products and great produce. They also have great ready made foods for quick meals. This store even has a Starbucks along with a frozen yogurt bar. This is a great addition to this neighborhood.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stood at the deli counter for 5-6 minutes as a worker walked right past me through the doors behind the deli. I walked over to him as i grew annoyed with waiting and at that point he tells me the deli was closed. How could you just ignore me when I’m standing there and let me continue to wait at the counter. Super rude. Bad customer service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cost and quality compromised!! Almost all the onions that I bought were spoiled from inside and were so stinky. The peppers also were almost going get spoiled. Its “Save less on foods” and waste time & money. Employees have no idea about item locations. They know that there’s no grocery store nearby, that doesn’t mean they can be this costly, yet with poor quality.

Once I was in a hurry to shop for a social gathering and I left some of my money in my car. Mason was my cashier and when he saw that my money was not enough, he went into his pocket and pulled out his bank card and balanced my bill for me! Such a kind human being. ?
