Worst experience ever. I don't think the lady who cut my daughter's hair had ever cut hair before. It was probably the worst haircut I've ever seen on someone.

There is a recurring theme in these reviews - at this location if you get Gene, all is good, but if not then your results may vary. My concern is that the other stylists cut the hair the way they want to, not the way you want it. I just took my 13 year old there and all she wanted was the ends trimmed. Barely 3/4” was cut off and my daughter suggested the stylist could take another couple of inches, but instead she got maybe another 1/4”. She asked again and the stylist said she was done. In less than 10 minutes the job was not done but that was it, and she got charged for an adult to boot. I have had the exact same experience where I want my own hair cut shorter but had the same result. I’ve been coming to this location for a couple of years because I liked Gene and using the app, but it’s time to move on. There’s a reason why the rating is down to 3.3 and falling….

I would not trust this place to get my hair or any of my family members hair cut.

I’ve been to this salon a few times and have always been happy with how Gene cut my hair but my hair was cut very uneven my last two visits in aug of last year and on Feb 7 of this year. I came back Feb 7 as I thought the uneven cut I got in aug of last year was a one off thing. I called the salon to ask when Gene would be working the day prior and they said he starts at 10am so I showed up at 10am and when I arrived was told he wasn’t in yet. A lady called him and he said he’d still be about half an hour or so. I went to have breakfast around the corner which isn’t a big deal but I find it very unprofessional for a stylist to show up late. I asked for my hair to be cut all one length and it’s still very uneven. I went in with my hair straightened so it could be cut even as my hair is naturally wavy. Gene sprayed my hair and it ended up going somewhat back to it’s naturally wavy state so I couldn’t see if it was cut even before I left the salon. I asked if it could be straightened so I could see if it was even cause that’s why I straightened it before arriving to the salon but heat tools aren’t currently allowed with covid. I also straightened my hair prior to coming in aug of last year and it wasn’t cut even close to being even. I could have done a better job myself. Prior to paying Gene said he needed my address for “COVID reasons.” I don’t know why but I accidentally gave it as I wasn’t thinking. Then I saw on the website that there’s a link to click that says “do not sell my information.” I clicked on it and tried to sign in with my username and password and I wasn’t able to go to that link. I would like my account deleted please including my address on file. I don’t see an option to do so. I won’t be returning to this salon. Update: I didn’t ask for my hair to be thinned with thinning shears. I have very thin hair as it is and wanted it all one length so I have more volume. Jenna

Their appointment system is good. They have a note about each customer style that’s nice. I never saw they clean their tools completely. The staff always changing it makes you feel a little uncomfortable.

Do not get your haircut here. My husband came here because we live close by which is why he chose to get my haircut here. After explaining three times how he wanted his hair, the stylist took way too much hair off and went to high and ruined his hair. He couldn't address himself as to why he went too high. He started shaking and couldn't continue his haircut. He told my husband he was too scared to continue and then kicked me out. I asked him to give me the managers name and he said he didn't know who the manager was. He said he didn't know who the owner was either. This is the first time this has ever happened to me. I am absolutely lost for words.

I read the reviews online before I went in to get my haircut and was fairly nervous to be honest but I decided i was going to check them out anyway. I was NOT disappointed. I have thick curly hair and it was dead. The lovely woman who did my hair was amazing. It is perfect! She kept things calm and happy and my hair is bouncy and alive again! THANK YOU!!
