Hello, I have a BL936 fireplace. The bottom plate buckles significantly. I wrote to the company explaining my experience. To my utter dismay, l received an email reply that was completely arrogant, rude and amounted to a personal attack on my judgement. Now, aside from the extremely unprofessional reply, to compound this unacceptable behavior, the email came from a Director of the company. I have forwarded this email to the distributor,...they were completely taken aback by this extremely curt and unprofessional email...to a client (unacceptable behaviour). Beware of this company. If this is how they choose to communicate with their existing clients,...it's a extremely negative reflection of how this company is run and customer care is non-existent. Stay away from this company!

100's of fireplaces over 22 years without a single issue. Now thousands of dollars to fix and angry buyers to fix 19 Savannah units installed. Melted TV's, overheated cracked drywall, terrible service, no follow up care. All installed according to their specifications. Salesman was bad-mouthing me to my buyers! No warranty. Absolutely the worst product I have installed in ANY houses I have built in all the years! Overheated. Had to install fan kits in all and back venting to make them usable. No compensation from them. TERRIBLE!

We bought three different Savannah Heating Fireplaces (Pinnacle 55, Elite St Linear, and ABR) last year to become our primary heat source, backed up by some electric heaters in the house. After a full year of use we can't say enough about their gas fireplaces! Not only have they cut our total energy heating bill by a whopping 40 per cent over the year, they have added a beautiful ambience to our home morning and night! We have had a few gas fireplaces in the past, and thought they were all basically the same, but we now understand the meaning of super efficient gas fireplaces that they make and sell in Richmond. We want to thank Murray, Craig, Sandra, Donna and crew for their excellent service and products, and we would recommend these fireplaces in a heartbeat to anyone!!

Oct 8/2020 I purchased an Essence 45 back in Jan 2020 for a new construction build based on the owner Murray's email: β€œ Savina, Regarding the extension of vertical venting to 5 extra feet this would be fine. The only issue you may have would be that your installer may need to restrict the venting and this would be done with the restrictor plate in the top of the firebox. Murray Lookman β€œ I had an inspection by Technical Safety and they have stated we need to remove the fireplace as the venting cannot be extended the 5 extra feet. I emailed the supplier and was told Savannah will not give us our money back even though we have the above email from the owner Murray. I emailed Murray personally and requested a reply Oct 2. Still no reply. What reputable business tells you in an email that you can install the fireplace but does not back their product? Reviews are testimonials to inform all consumers when considering a product or business. Knowledge is power. Make an informed decision on purchasing Savannah. Had we known Murray Lookman and Savannah treated consumers this way, we never would of purchased any Savannah products.

Great fireplaces. The new ABR19 has given me an excellent option to update the old B-Vent gas fireplaces. With a re&re of less than 3 hours is brilliant. Now heating bills and drafts are both reduced. ?

We have purchased 2 gas fireplaces over the years from Savannah, and in both cases, we received excellent service, promptness, courtesy, and professionalism. They go the 'extra mile' for customers, and helped us out more than 6 years later by looking up permit records, and getting them to us within hours, when this became an issue during closing of the sale of our house.

DO NOT BUY A SAVANNAH GAS FIREPLACE. Their ABR19 Gas fireplace has died after 3 years. Spoke with manager Chris who basically shrugged and told me I was on my own. When I asked if they stood by their product, he hung up on me. Wow. Horrible customer service and clearly not accountable to their products. Many good ones out there. Do not call on this business.

My wife and I purchased a Select 42 for our new home build in 2021. We had a few issues with the unit after install but we have been dealing with Craig directly and the service has been outstanding. He has gone above and beyond to work with me to get the unit working perfectly. We could not be happier with the look of the fireplace In our new family room. Thanks Craig! Would definitely purchase another.
