Excellent communication and service. We had Reid Brothers come in and do some repair work adding new water lines as well as new sink install. The guy who came to do the work was very polite and respected our home. He had the knowledge to answer all of our questions. Very satisfied with his work and the experience we had with Reid Brothers. Highly recommend.

Recently had Reid Brothers complete a yearly service our boiler and heating system. Very professional organization from start to finish. The guy who came to do the work was pleasant, informative on explaining the workings of the system, and transparent on replacement parts. Will defiantly be using Reid Brothers going forward and highly recommend.

We have been loyal customers of Reid Brothers for over 15 years and they have been lifesavers on MANY occasions. They have installed and serviced our IBC boiler and water storage tanks, provided emergency repairs for a broken water line and for several 'no heat' situations over the years, performed annual maintenance for our heating system and come on multiple occasions to clean clogged shower and sink drains. Each and every one of their service technicians has been friendly, professional and proficient in their work. We have even come to know and request some of the regulars (talking about you Paul:) who we enjoy catching up with when they visit for service calls. The service booking team is also always very friendly, and they always manage to squeeze us in if its urgent, and are able to accommodate and schedule regular maintenance service calls at our convenience. We feel fortunate to have such a reliable and trustworthy plumbing team just a phone call away and we highly recommend Reid Brothers for all of your plumbing and heating needs.

I want to thank Reid Brothers once again for being there when I have needed them. I have been calling them for five years, as everyone in our apartment building also does. They are always professional on the phone and in person. When I had my most recent plumbing issue they showed up quickly and efficiently, on time, and did a beautiful job. Very reasonable fees as well. This is wonderful customer service and care and I will definitely be calling the team the next time I need any plumbing or heating systems work done. We have always had issues of not enough hot water and heat due to a seemingly complex heating system for several years. All concerns have finally been resolved thanks to a highly experienced and competent company that takes the time to explain the underlying reasons and how to solve them!!!) My family can now finally live in comfort and always know who to rely on for their professionalism! Thank you sooooo much Reid Brothers. Customers for life!!

I called Reid Brothers (RB) on November 26, 2019 because of a failed boiler at my house the previous night. Problem was the fuse in the Zone Control Board had blown. RB replaced with the wrong fuse 3 times and each one blew as soon as the power to the boiler was turned on. RB claimed the wiring was not correct and said it was not the way RB would have done it (the boiler was installed over 7 years ago and had been working fine until then). RB rearranged different wires and bypassed the heating zone valves to allow only the hot water tank to be heated temporarily and left. They would come back the next day to re-wire the whole system. Within 15 to 20 minutes of RB leaving, I smelled burning and found smoke and sparks coming out of the Zone Control Board. I switched off the power to the boiler immediately. The following morning, I told the RB dispatch person of the fire hazard incident and met with total indifference. I found another plumber and he diagnosed the problem right away as a faulty Zone Control Board which he replaced immediately, but noticed the top of the Universal Intermittent Pilot Ignition Module casing was melted and cracked from the heat generated. It had to be replaced as well. Finally, the technician had to reconnect all the wiring that RB had dismantled in order for the boiler to work. He said there are different ways of wiring the boiler system there was nothing wrong with the current wiring system. I ended up paying over $450 extra on fixing Reid Brother’s incompetence. I wrote a letter to RB and sent pictures of bill and damaged modules. “Mike” from RB called and said he will investigate the event but the responsible technician is away. That was the last I heard from RB. This is a update since the review was published. RB contacted me after the above review was published. They apologized for the problem they had caused and for not following up with any remediation in a timely manner. They had also retrained the responsible technician and reimbursed me on the additional cost I had to paid. RB had eventually taken responsibility of the event and did what they could to redress the issue.

We found Reid Brothers to be professional, efficient, and very reliable. From the beginning of our three projects to the end, their team has been most thorough. I was contacted by Brian, their Project Manager, at the beginning of our projects. He stayed in touch and walked us through every step of the way from start to finish. He told us what to expect and when service would start and end. He also did follow-ups upon completion of the projects. Technicians, Richard and Sam came in to check on our gas furnace and hot water heater (the latter had a slow leak), and to check on our kitchen sink tap which needed replacement. They also connected our new fire pit to our existing gas line. Not only did they do a thorough job of all three, but they went the extra mile - while Richard worked on checking the furnace and hot water tank, Sam finished setting up the partially completed fire pit for us. Both were extremely professional, courteous and congenial. Technicians, Tom and Matt came in to install the tankless water heater which we opted to have put in. They too were extremely knowledgeable, professional, courteous, very thorough, and completed the project in a timely and efficient manner. We are very pleased with the entire team of professionals at Reid Brothers, and we would recommend them highly.

Called in for a simple heating system repair (we still use the old hot water heating) but the repairman was an hour late. Got super fed up with us and rather then showing us his credentials and fixing the problem, tried to upsell and new heating system to us. We got a second opinion and it only costed $250 plus tax. Instead this company wanted to install the “newer and better” heating system for 10 times the price. Be careful of this scam company.
