★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The pedicure was only 15 minutes from start to finish, with barely any foot treatment or massage. Basically you are paying $30 to have your toenails painted. Sad because I wanted a little bit of relaxation.

Aside from being a family-owned small business, they are always clean, kind and professional and provide quality services. They are always open to flexibility when it comes to last minute appointments or walk-ins. Plus, their prices are the best I’ve found in Kitsilano.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been going to Sassy Nails for the last 3 years. I absolutely love the service they provide, how accommodating the staff are and how friendly the team is. Everyone is always happy to have a chat. Very clean and professional. I always get shellac pedicures - the polish does not peel off after 2 weeks and I can usually get away with 6 weeks before I need to go back again.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, but the man who did my manicure absolutely destroyed my cuticles. 2 of my cuticles were bleeding on and off for a few days after the service and another is infected - red, swollen, throbbing. I recognize that this may be a unique situation but considering I am close to having to visit a doctor to get the swollen finger looked at, I am incredibly disappointed in the quality of the service and will not be returning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After seeing mixed reviews, I decided to give this nail salon a chance. I went in for a French manicure with acrylics and gel and it turned out terrible. In the photos, you can see my natural nail tip show through the acrylics which totally ruins the point of a French manicure! The colour used for the base is way too clear - should’ve been a lighter beige or pink at least. Also, the nail looks “bubbly” and not a nice smooth look (also visible in pics). 0/10 manicure experience. My cuticles and nail were not cleaned properly and was rushed. Also, did not get a hand massage at the end. I got these nails done for an event and I am so upset. Did not feel like tipping but I did anyways out of respect and common courtesy. So disappointed and will not be coming again!!

Philip was so patient and caring and provided great advice on the colour and made sure the design is top notch. The picture is taken one week after my visit and my nails still look amazing. Thank you so much for the great service and experience.
