★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jihan (the man) is lovely and efficient. I will only use him, so occasionally have to wait. The place has an old-fashioned feel with the old pictures on the wall and well worn chairs / lino / counters. When it's busy, there can be some old-towney discussions taking place. The picture on Google maps is accurate in terms of interior, but the barber in the picture is not Jihan (the current owner).

Two people work here: a man and a woman. The man is careful, but slow. But the woman is the worst barber I've ever seen. The first thing she did was squirt water directly in my eye. Then she buzzed my head and left me covered in hair, which also got in my eyes. She poked me with the clippers a lot and shockingly hard. I had to get her to redo it because she missed a spot. Awkward small talk because she's hard of hearing. $18 = the worst, lopsided haircut and an uncomfortable experience.
Either find out the man's schedule or don't take the risk of ending up in her chair.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I asked the barber for a "minor trim" just to "clean up my beard" and he cut off more than half of it (from 4cm to 1.5cm). After going home to take a better look, I also realized the underside of my beard was incredibly uneven, with the neck being twice as long as what was left on my chin. Not only was the cut drastically shorter than what was asked for, it was also just poorly done.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The man who owns the shop, Jihan, is an excellent barber who I have been going to for years. Really feels like a community barber shop. He remembers his long-time customers and knows exactly what I want each time! I definitely recommend him!
