I do not recommend this barbershop I walked in to this location having faith in the JD name because I have gotten some of my best cuts at the Gastown location. However, I was mistaken and walked out of that barber feeling and looking my worst. I was absolutely horrified. I wanted a side part pomp and I showed the person who cut my hair the same picture I show to everyone that cuts my hair. Many things went wrong (I did not notice them because my chair kept being moved around). The hair around my crown kept sticking up. My existing part (that I was very satisfied with) disappeared and what resulted was a vague and crooked line that can be barely called a part. The fade was not smooth - very patchy. The hairs on base of my neck were not trimmed away. After the cut was finished and she attempted to style my hair, the finished look was absolutely horrifying. The hair was flat and down even though the picture showed it was clearly styled up and back. The part, again, was messy and uneven. The hair around my crown was cut too short. In addition, I walked out of the shop over paying for my haircut with hair still stuck over my face. All in all, bad haircut, took too long, inexperienced barbers. I'd give zero stars if I could.

The haircut was fine, at first I thought it was not as good but after a few days, I think it was very well done. Like most haricut places, it is a little bit in the pricey side (though, it is less if you are a student), other than that is a good place.
