While the service now is still top tier, I fear that inflation has caused them to raise prices and reduce portion sizes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Moved from Brantford years ago, but would still pop by Sammy's when in Btown. Sammy's USED to be top notch bar grub and atmosphere. We understand prices of everything have gone up everywhere, it sucks, but we are all affected by these times. WE WILL ALWAYS SUPPORT LOCAL!
BUT, sorry Sammy's, you failed today. Prices altho still reasonable, ( fish and chips, the salad with bacon, egg, chicken etc, two iced teas and spinach dip starter) , portion size has drastically decreased.
But worse than that...the atmosphere just isn't the same Ole Sammy's that kept us coming back no matter where we live.
Very unfortunate, another favourite gone ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ when I came in to pickup my order the cashier didn't give me a combo and when I asked, he told me that they don't have a Soup and Salad Combo, even though this is taken directly off of the menu on Sammysrecroom.ca:

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered 3 lbs of wings. 1 pound was supposed to be a dry rub and wasn't and the other two were honey garlic and mild. They are the worst wings I have ever eaten, 6/8 wings in each lb were drum sticks and they were hard and they had zero flavor. I will never order from here again. The absolute WORST wings I have ever eaten in my life. So disappointed !!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would give more stars if I could. My partner and I were very impressed with this place. The customer service was exceptional. There was only one female attending to atleast 7 tables while answering phone orders,pick orders and the kitchen calls when the food was ready to be served or picked up.
She served each customer with a very pleasant and calm manner. Since it was our first time here, we were able to ask question and place our take out order. We also noticed there was only one person working in the kitchen non stop.
We plan to take my mom there to eat again. The wings were great.
Will recommend it to any one who wants to have a great experience eating out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sammy's Rec Room is a nice little old town sports eatery that has great service and comfortable atmosphere overall. There is street parking and parking lot across by the Timmies. My first visit was on April.9,2022. I was satisfied with my visit. Support the hard working middle class business/family.
