★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely delicious! Our first time here and the food, portion size and service was awesome! We were quickly sat, food came out quickly and was so delicious. We are new to Brantford and our server took the time to tell us some local places she likes! Will definitely be back ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time trying out Joey's was pleasantly surprised. Our fish and chip dinner turned out nice and crispy without any oily-greasy mess that sometimes can accompany this type of meal. The place was very clean and our server showed just the right amount of interest in our group, even the dessert was very good.

It isn't what it use to be :( my mom and I went there for a nice lunch and they didn't have barely anything from the app menu and when our food arrived it was incorrect and when it came back we ended up with more fries then fish. The little piece of fish and for the price lol. My moms steamed veggies were literally bottom of the bag cold ones. We left like we received the scraps. The food wasn't even hot :( our server was so nice but she forgot our order about 2-3 times. Won't be back as there's new fish and chip places in brantford now.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Having just moved to Brantford, I'm trying out some of the eateries to see what my new favourites may be. For fish and chips I'd say Joey's is the one. Good sized pieces of fish, chips not soggy or greasy and good service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lunch special changed. Price increased (that's to be expected after shutdowns) but the portions are smaller and no beverage included now so add an extra $3 per person. Be nice if we were told and not just expected that we should know. Table was clearly dirty with dried food and salt. We told the waitress and she didn't believe us so she ran her hand over it saying it was clean but wiped her hand on pants as she went to get a cloth. Covid is still here and the fact she was rubbing her hand on the table, not wearing a mask breathing on our food was just enough for us to move on from this restaurant. Other fish and chip establishments in the city to visit. Thanks for the many years but parting is such sweet sorrow. Time to move on.

Hands. Down.
Absolutely delicious, fresh food in large portions. Staff is so kind and the building is clean. This is my first visit and I already can't wait to come back!
