★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time in sam's grill and YOU have to go! It’s the cutest spot with amazing food. I ordered spicy paneer poutine and it was yumm and fully loaded with extra cheese???. IT WAS FIRE!!??The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good burgers and fries seemed good, but classic poutine is lacking any flavour. Gravey is pretty bland and cheese curds are good but also lacking flavour. Salt and pepper would probably help. Overall very good and would return, but I think there are a few others place closer to me are still better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely a place I would recommend for anyone wanting some fresh and delicious burgers! The ingredients are quite high quality, and the burgers are cooked exceptionally well. Plus there’s options for poutine and sandwiches if you’re looking for that as well.

My order was #2 and got mixed up with the lady infront of me(order #1). She had my burger within a foot of her on the table opened (she was dining in) as the employee said to her she has the wrong burger.
Now the last time I checked there is still a pandemic going on and I was the only one with a mask on. The employees did not make a new burger and simply handed me the burger that came in contact with the other customer. I understand that people now I have the choice to wear mask insidd establishments but I preferred in my food didn't come in contact with randoms from the public.
Threw out the burger as a precaution as 9.99 + tax is not worth the chance to get covid.
The poutine itself was bland. Gravy had no taste. Glad I didn't have to pay for the poutine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great Montreal Smoked Meat sandwich, very tender and moist and the portion size was generous! The fries were also perfect. We have been looking for a good smoked meat restaurant in the Whitby area and this is it. We will definitely return for more. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered for the first time from this place tonight. I got the super beef burger which had not won not two but three beef patties and bacon. Absolutely love the taste fresh buns fresh patties and the right amount of condiments. Will definitely be going back to try the other offerings here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Homemade burgers and fresh cut fries. We really enjoyed it! I’d say they are somewhat comparable to a five guys burger as they are smash burgers but at a better cost. Not as much fries as you get at five guys of course. We will definitely be back. Wish it was closer to us! Patties are 3oz and the standard burger comes with two. The super comes with three.
