Over two decades ago, Cosimo Minnella founder and CEO of Salon Centre realized his dream when he began his journey, and opened his first beauty supply company – Joico North in Thunder Bay, Ontario. A Thunder Bay native, Cosimo inherited his love for the beauty industry from his family.

Three years after starting Joico North, Cosimo and his wife Connie moved to Winnipeg, where they then purchased Joico Manitoba, and a few years after that Joico Saskatchewan, which later became Salon Centre as we know it. With a tremendous amount of hard work, passion and love for the beauty industry, Cosimo and his dedicated staff have grown the Salon Centre Brand from a small humble family owned business to a leader in the beauty supply industry. Servicing a market all the way from Northwestern Ontario to Saskatchewan. With 5 stores covering 3 provinces, and over 45 staff, Salon Centre is proud to represent and supply products and education from some of the world’s best brands.

Our mission statement is to be the most inspiring distributor in the Prairies that brings brands from all over the world to our local market. We want to share these brands and their innovative tools with our clients to fuel their passion and creativity for the industry.
