I so appreciate the dedication to the residents and heart for the broader community I've seen at SHRR! They welcomed our church into their building every week to host worship services and we had the amazing privilege of meeting and serving so many residents and staff. They really were the ones blessing our church family! In all our dealings with the directors and staff, they have always gone the extra mile to accommodate us and partner with us! This place brings such value to the residents, their families and our community at large!

Seniors Relocation Solutions is a senior living moving company that works with Samantha and her staff at Sage Hill Retirement Residence. Our experience to date has been exceptional including the staff members who greet us, assist us and make us feel welcome including management, the building design and beautiful suites and the friendly residents who call Sage Hill their home. Keep up the great work Sage Hill!

I had my practicum here as wellness and recreation aid for 6 weeks. The holistic approach to different areas of development such as Cerebral, Emotional, Physical, Social and Spiritual for seniors were so diverse, Well structured and with 100% implementation. As a student I was so grateful and honored for this immersion. ( an in depth mental involvement) I would say that i learned a lot. Then management and the staff were so compassionate, supportive, there was a unique level of Family spirit and caring with grace under pressure. Sage hill all seniors care: they are living with utmost service and care.

I have rated Sage Hill Retirement Residence at five stars for many reasons. I moved my Dad into independent living at Sage Hill a year ago. From my first meeting with Co-Director Samantha I knew that he would be safe, well looked after and happy. Residents are greeted by management and staff by name from the first day. Families are made to feel welcome and included. When needed, the healthcare team (doctor, nurse practitioner, director of care, all the nurses and LPNs) are absolutely wonderful. Their compassion and caring help families navigate health crisis. I cannot say enough good things about this facility.

Our family had to find an assisted seniors residence very quickly this past April. Our dad was being released from Hospital and we were told he would not be returning to his own condo or able to drive again. We had about 2 weeks to find quality care and a place that would feel like home to him. We knew this would be a big adjustment for him. From the moment we contacted Wendy at Sage Hill, we knew that this was the place for him. Wendy and the entire team at Sage Hill have been nothing less than amazing in helping us transition our dad to his new home. They are some of the kindest, most compassionate people we have met when it comes to taking care of our loved ones. Our mother was in a number of different senior care homes until she passed away this past Christmas and although they were good, it doesn't compare to Sage Hill. The residents at Sage Hill are an extension of the staff's own family. The love, patience, compassion, kindness and medical care is exactly what he needed. We know and trust that every single person involved in his care team are giving him the best care they can. As he needs assistance with certain tasks, they are always there to ensure he receives it in a timely matter and to fit within his daily schedule. Sage Hill Seniors Residence is a fairly new, beautiful building with wonderful amenities, a variety of activities, freshly prepared food at every meal and bright, clean rooms. We chose a 1 bedroom apartment for our dad with a small kitchenette to make himself snacks, along with a private little patio off his living room, seperate large bedroom bathroom. Its the perfect amount of space for him. The entire building is modern, warm, beautifully decorated and bright with lots of large windows everywhere. I've said to my own kids, I'd be very happy there in my senior years, keep it mind!. We look forward to working with the team at Sage Hill as we all help my dad get settled in, get involved in activities and meet new friends! Thanks to Wendy and the entire team at Sage Hill! The Sage Hill Retirement Residence is a wonderful place to be and a staple in our community. I first met the staff in 2017 shortly after open and we quickly formed a partnership as a community association and community hub and now a close friendship. Over the years we have hosted Halloween events, swimming lessons, donation drives, fundraisers and even first air courses In their building. The staff are wonderful, the building is clean, quiet and bright and something is always going on within its walls. Everyone is friendly (staff and residents) and smile exchanges are endless.

My sister and I moved our mom to Calgary from Winnipeg, where she had lived in her own little home until 90. She needed to be close to family, and being very independent, was able to be accommodated in one of Sage Hill's Independent Living suites. As time progressed, and she needed more assistance, it was provided with care and dignity. We cannot say enough about the kindness and friendliness of the staff....everyone from the receptionist to the handyman, the bus driver who drove the "scenic tours", the dining room staff who remembered her favourites, but especially Samantha, the director, and her most excellent staff. This is a welcoming and caring home for our loved ones....with excellent attention to safety and health. This was a stressful year and a half, and the measures they put in place early on gave us all peace of mind. We simply could not have had our mom in a better place. Thank you to everyone there.

Sage Hill Retirement Residence offers a warm and welcoming independent living home for seniors. The close relationship with Alberta Health Services means there is a seamless ability to provide extra assistance for seniors when they need it. No extra negotiating with multiple agencies. Their competent team handles it all in-house with staff that the resident sees in the hallways every day. We did not anticipate how important this would be but when our mother’s care needs escalated soon after her move in, we were extremely thankful that she had chosen Sage Hill Retirement Residence. The staff were consistently available and promptly answered our questions and concerns and adjusted her care plan as needed. We had never dared to hope for the care and support she received, one that did not require a move to another facility. Without exception, the staff at Sage Hill were competent, compassionate, respectful and genuinely interested in our mother’s wellbeing. From the front desk staff, to the health care staff, to the caretaker, to the administrative staff, everyone displayed these traits. Obviously, there is a culture of concern that is successfully cultivated at Sage Hill. We would highly recommend Sage Hill!
