We ordered the Alberta on a Plate meals. The peach salad and pasta tortellini were incredibly delicious and the waitress Allison and waiter were fantastic. Our meals had a slight problem and the waitress remedied the problem quickly and efficiently with apologies at a time when she was extraordinarily busy. Both of them were hard working, polite and conscientious. Employees like that are hard to find and should be commended. Very much appreciate their superb service.

Atrium cafe listed is only open for special events, this is the only place in the hotel to get coffee. Nice staff, cute decor. Oatmeal could use some salt

The sage restaurant in the delta hotel south, tower side, is simply amazing. I’m surprised I didn’t find more information on this restaurant but they have only been open since June 2019. My husband & I stayed at the delta hotel for our 7th anniversary, and decided to go down to try sage. Deborah our waitress was simply wonderful & welcoming. She even brought us out a price of delicious Black Forest cake for our anniversary. My husband tried the octopus, which is difficult to find, & he loved it. I had the calamari & shrimp, also fantastic. We shared the Brussel sprouts (it’s not easy to get my husband to eat his veggies lol) but the way they are prepared, crispy & sweet, he gobbled up 1/2 the plate with me. The chief here is amazing, I didn’t catch his name. Thank you Sage & Co. for making our dinner so delicious & enjoyable! Definitely we will be back! Highly recommend 5+*****’s

I tried breakfast here. I am local to the area and not a hotel guest. The staff was friendly and attentive. I had their "classic" which is eggs, bacon, deep fried potato chuncks, and toast. The presentation was nice and it came to the table quickly. The bacon was thick cut and cooked perfectly. Best part of the breakfast. Sour dough toast was good, but I hate when you get "in house made" compote. Which is really just cheap berries heated up with some sugar. It's runny and the berries fall off the toast. It makes a mess because you have to try to smash the berries to spread them. Just give me jam. I asked for the eggs over easy, but they came over snotty. I hate undercooked egg whites, it's so gross. Cooking eggs properly should be a key job perfomance metric for every chef and line cook. Sort of how you expect a high school graduate to know how to count to 10. It's core. I hate that orange seasoning they put on the potatoes. It tastes terrible and I wish restaurants wouldn't do it. I never eat the potatoes with this seasoning. So it makes me feel like I was ripped off. The first cup of coffee was good. The "warm up" I was offered and accepted actually cooled my coffee down....☹️. Overall disappointed and won't return.

Stopped in for breakfast after doing some shopping nearby. Hoping to find a hidden gem, but was sorely disappointed. We were seated quickly, and the manager was very pleasant, but after serving us some coffee, nobody came back to check on us. For 25 whole minutes. The restaurant wasn't busy, but there were long periods where not a single staff member could be seen. I eventually had to grab a random person and ask if someone could come take our order. They seemed to forget about us frequently, and we had to specifically ask for the following things: 1. Spoons for stirring coffee 2. Refills that were promised but never came 3. Side dishes that were ordered but then completely forgotten I had the pancakes, but was shocked to discover they were extremely dry. I've never had pancakes that dry. I didn't know it was *possible* to make pancakes that dry. My over-medium eggs came out super runny and lukewarm. I even had to get up and go to the bar to ask for syrup for my dry pancakes and ketchup for my bland potato wedges, because they never once came to check on us. I realize they may have been understaffed, but this was intolerable. Especially considering it was the manager himself who seated us. I also heard other tables remarking on the inattentiveness of the serving staff. I'm a local, but I won't ever be back. Hotel guests beware.

Visited for breakfast while staying at the hotel. It has a small menu but the food and coffee is truly superb. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive . It has a classic, modern atmosphere. The food portions were massive. The huevos rancheros were beautifully presented. Our avocado toast was piled mile high with cucumbers, tomatoes, cilantro and smashed avocado. This is a must go to if you are in the area for a quick snack to go, or breakfast in bed.
