★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best Tandoori Roti we had after a long time. They are huge and well cooked.
Paneer Lababdaar was equally good and flavorful. We just felt that the quantity of curries is a little less.
We also ordered Masala Chai to end our meal. We liked that too.
Service is quick and staff is courteous.
Definitely going back to try more options.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very Appealing customer pleaser venue with affordable but authentic menu. The staff was extremely friendly, knowledgeable. Food they served was fresh and mouth watering. Service was quite exceptional. Potion sizes were fairly ok. Presentation wise not bad, but could do better. Exceptable as it was a busy n had an evening rush. Out of the things we had The butter chicken with Garlic Naan was the hit. Definitely can recommend and we will return. Our friends who visited from All the way from Ontario also mentioned they were quite satisfied and the venue is quite recommended. They felt it's worth for the $$ they spent. Thank you for the great experience and memorable food you offered. The owner Sawrob too gave us an exceptional service. Thank you again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went to Saffron today on June 2nd, 2022, and ordered a delicious food at this place. The customer service was great, neat place, good atmosphere, tasty masala tea and my wife and I are extremely happy. We plan to go again in two days before we leave Banff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Some of the best Indian food I’ve had outside of London. Meat is tender and curries are ultra flavorful. They were also happy to indulge our request for “extra spicy.” We went back multiple times on our weeklong trip to Banff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful Indian establishment in the heart of Banff. Saffron serves delicious Indian favorites. We ordered the Dal Tarka, Beef Vindaloo, Saffron Special Lamb, Veggie Biryani, and Garlic Naan. All of it was wonderfully prepared and so delicious. The biryani may have been a bit too flavourful...I typically find the best biryani are not over spiced and are more subtle in saffron infusion. But otherwise, it was all wonderful.
The service was very attentive, helpful and kind. The only slight takeaway is the room is a bit odd...its one big square space with tables and chairs around the perimeter. It's fairly clean but the room doesn't lend itself to any sort of ambience.
Four stars for this beautiful gem serving Indian cuisine in the mountains.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The interior is very minimalistic like many other 'no frils' Indian restaurants. The butter chicken was good but all other dishes more or less disappointed. The lamp filled Nan lagged flavor, the Safran pannier was also very plain. The beef curry was ok but the shrimp vegetables dish was also lagging flavor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s a great location in downtown, easy access from public transportation/ Mall and pretty close to gondola. Presentation is also great. Exceptionally authentic spices taste and excellent customer service. Reception is very polite and first in first serve table bookings so they don’t have reservations, also offers Thali on weekdays to try various dishes in one plate. Cleanliness is also great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My friends and I have dined in all of the Indian eatery in the Bow Valley area and we have to say that the food here is really good! Has a homemade feel, and you can taste that the food is made with fresh ingredients. Our favourite is the Beef Pepper Fry, we ordered it as a starter but ordered another by the end as it’s so good. Only small thing is the restaurant is cold whenever someone enters or exit the entrance, hopefully this could be improved! But definitely will be back.
