Came here for their ‘elk day’ special Wednesday night and it did not disappoint!
Had the elk tacos and the elk burgers. Food was fresh and delicious and came pretty fast, even though the place was busy. Impressive ☺️
Service was friendly and efficient as well!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a quick lunch here yesterday after our gondola ride. Luckily, they had the taste of adventure elk slider trio and we were able to try all three! Don’t be deceived by the size, it was perfect- not too small and not too big. I liked all of them, all tender and tasty. Francisco was very nice and even reminded me to enter the contest by the end of the meal. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been to the Elk twice during our stay in Banff and both visits were amazing. Jessica our server looked after us and made sure we had everything we needed (including extras!). Best food place we’ve visited during our 5 days in Banff - highly recommend!!
Great portions too and amazing value!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would have left a good review based on the food (wonderful). However our server was so wildly unprofessional I cannot give this establishment a positive review.
At lunch, our server Amy showed up at our table with our drinks and a shot. She gave us our drinks and proceeded to remove her mask and DRINK the shot! We thought that was bad enough - when the bill came we paid and then realized that she had put HER shot into OUR bill! Which we had just paid! We did not offer this nor would we have. She was drinking on the job, putting drinks onto customers bills and was not particularly polite either.
Unfortunate. Likely won't be back despite the excellent food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered hamburger with fries and a side of sweet potato fries. Hamburger was room temperature, thoroughly dried out, and approaching the inedible side of the scale. Sweet potato fries were also room temperature. Taste was fine, nothing special.
One big thing to note, waitress who was serving us was unapologetically impatient and rude. She let out a very audible sigh when we let her know we wanted separate bills. Did not fulfill basic serving duties like refilling our glasses or periodically checking in on the group. Poor attitude in general.
Edit: owner of restaurant asked me to reach out. I emailed them providing information. No response from owner! All these responses to negative ratings asking them to reach out just a show?
