r	ryan lee on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was good. We had gotten the prime rib and 3 top sirloin steaks. The prime rib was fantastic and the steaks were no bad themselves. The service was also great with the waiter being very friendly and welcoming. Its not 5 stars only because it was a bit too pricy for me. All in all, definitely would recommend to anyone visiting Banff. (try the prime rib!)

Had to chew 157 times with each bite before swallowing so I didn't choke. Sides were so so. A new steak was offered but it was 915pm and I was starving. No discount was offered just dairy dessert, but I had mentioned earlier I was no dairy. Waitress was nice, shrimp was standard. Would NOT eat here again. Chuck's has the best steak!

The steak frites was nothing to write home about. Service was not so great. We arrived an hour before closing - perhaps the staff was tired. The interaction was minimal and it took awhile getting our glasses filled. Would definitely try other steak houses in Banff before returning.

Very personable, great recommendations, check in regularly. The food was fantastic; we had several appetizers, tried a number of their drinks, shared a few mains, and of course how can you end a night at the Keg without their creme brulee?! Fantastic! We stayed a few hours, watched a number of other groups receive the same exceptional service by a variety of wait staff; thoroughly enjoyed our visit as always.

The steak I recieved had a lot of unchewable grissley bits which was very dissapointing to me as I was at a dinner meeting and finding these, then trying to act casual as you try to deal with non-food in your mouth was not pleasant. I am not sure if that is a common thing with this type of steak or not, but I was not pleased with it. Otherwise, the little button mushrooms, potatoes, and everything in-between was very well made. The ambiance was good and our server was attentive and respectful. I had Ceasars to drink and they were awesome, the bean is surprisingly spicy! Lol. Caught me off guard.

This was the first time we've gone here and I had expected the place to be more of an open area with a mountain view, but it was rather closed and contained. There aren't many coat hangers either, so we had to hang ours close to another group's table, which was rather awkward. It's not a big deal, but I hope this would be given attention. Lastly, I had the steak and lobster with garlic mash for the side and cosmopolitan for the drink. Everything was great, except I was quite disappointed with the doneness of my steak. I asked for medium rare, but I was given a medium instead and it was more chewy than I prefer. I decided not to complain or ask for a new one as I was already famished after hiking and walking downtown. Coming here was still a great experience overall.

We were so happy with our dinner. The service was excellent, the drinks were super yummy. We love coming to this location. Thank you!!
