I have shopped here off and on for quite a few years. This store was stocked and fairly clean, meaning the washroom was dirty it even had a used sock on the floor. But this has nothing to do with any of that. Checking out was horrible. I really dont think this lady Donna 3 as on the receipt should be working with the public. She is rude, and if you ask her a question she pretends like she cant hear you. She asked if we brought our bags, which we had forgot, I said no hubby forgot as he was waiti g to put groceries in the cart, I mentioned that usually I remember but today hubby was driving and we, meaning hubby and me know that men dont always remember about the bags. Hubby smiled at me.. She says well from what I see here that's not true??? Excuse ME? Continued to look down scanning to make conversation I said pinapples are sure on for a good sale price, I bet people are buying them since they are the lowest price anywhere she didnt look didnt say a word...omg I couldn't wait to get out of the checkout and away from her Never said good bye or have a nice day or nothing. I just grabbed the bill and left, You should maybe have secret shoppers because for sure she was not deaf I know...maybe doesnt like old people ..she is no spring chicken herself...try and smile you never know who is across from you at the counter....

Been my Safeway for 10 years now. Big difference between staff, some are 5-Star, then there are a few 1-Star with curt disposition or they are annoyed that you interrupted them by being there. Again been going for about 10 years so its not an isolated incident. I find that the Deli Staff are very on point and friendly especially.

This review is about Donna S (cashier). She deserves a raise. Let me tell you, I watched Donna engage with a difficult customer (difficult as in the customer brought up a controversial topic) and Donna responded firmly yet respectfully and did not waiver in her exceptional customer service. She helped me next and wasn't shaken by the previous customers nonsense. Donna, 5 stars for you.

Even though this store a better that other Safeways as regards to the bakery, there was a lady working in produce that was not helpful at all. I took a mesh of limes @ 5.99, they wouldn't scan. So my helper called over the lady in produce and she said it was 8.99. I said no they are not. So I paid for my groceries minus the limes. I took the limes back to produce to prove my point and the produce lady had TAKEN THE PRICE TAG DOWN and she was working on something else. If I was manager I fire her on the spot.

Was a little cranky due to blood sugar dropping and dizziness, but Austin ( i believe that's his name?), the manager, was a great help. Really helped me out with issues involving my card, confirmed payment went through, ect. I feel bad for giving him such a hard time because of dropped sugar levels, but he was very understanding and helpful.

Needed a cake for work, and called at 10 am to order one. They went above and beyond to get me the cake ready by 1pm of the same day, even though you need to give a 24 hour notice. Great service. Amazing team. And the cake was beautiful! Thank you so much ! Great bakery! For sure will come again! :D

This is not a complaint but a notice because I don't think the manager understood me. As I was there today I noticed the pepperoni that I wanted was wrongly priced for the amount it was for. I notified the self check out lady and even showed her the picture. She went to price check on her own and came back with a different price tag...yet the one beside the product I was buying. Turkey pepperoni. I was not buying turkey I was buying regular. I then went to the manager, bald guy, I told him that their tags didn't match the product. And Code of Practice....BUT due to the fact the self check out lady had brought the wrong tag and the manager didn't look at my picture he stated.... someone must have put it on the wrong shelf. Although I got my pepperoni for free anyways I still don't think he realized that I was correct. It's Friday today and I will be back in that area on Sunday. Let's see if this gets through or I get another free packages of pepperoni.
