★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Almost all the employees are grumpy old women and are so slow when scanning and bagging.
Almost every time I go there the wait times in line are ridiculous. As a young man if I acted how these old women act at a job I'd be fired in 5 minutes. But they don't get fired because they're in cahoots.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would give this disgusting / stereotypical / racist / inconsiderate / white dominated Safeway 0 stars if google allowed me to. There was mold on a sandwich I bought from there last month and the workers did nothing to help or at least apologize. Just gave me my money back and ushered me to the exit because the “lines are waiting”.
And that wasn’t even the worst part of this safeway! They also force their security guards to follow ANY person of colour but mostly Black and Indigenous peoples who step foot in the store. My auntie was simply BROWSING for her needed items that she was going to BUY with her own MONEY, until she noticed she was being followed for 4 consecutive isles. After she noticed she was being STALKED, the security officer AGGRESSIVELY grabbed her arm and told her to go to the back of the store for questioning because “ you people do nothing but
steal and we are so tired of you people taken and not
giving!” After catching her with ZERO stolen items and only a full cart to PURCHASE items, they still kicked her out and almost called the police.
This has been happening way too many times at this specific Safeway, I have it on video… we’re just getting names of workers and that security guard so we can go forward with this and speak out.
