★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Same as what others are saying. I understand the complexity of the breakdown, but it really should be something sorted on their side: single account number, make payments (quarterly or consumption) and that's it. Such a confusing mess.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dreadfully unclear statements. It takes an accountant to figure out what you are being billed for. This unfortunately means that when they make mistakes on the billing, most people will probably not notice and just pay the balance. Like other purveyors have done for years, Rutland Waterworks really ought to break down the the quarterly charge separately from the consumption charges. I get a headache every quarter when my clients' statements from Rutland Waterworks start to arrive in the mail.
