★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC, are the two best words that describe Evergreen Irrigation.
I am by trade a gardener and have several clients who have used Evergreen for their irrigation needs. Some of them have used Evergreen to do blowouts , start ups and repairs for as long as ten years, but that is going to change.
Over the past two years or so their service has gone from bad to completely unacceptable as I have been repairing their shoddy work for more then half of my clients.
Shoddy work equates to basically two things: improperly blown out lines that will lead to cracks and breaks over the winter and carelessness when checking lines in the spring by not bothering to see if they are functioning properly.
What set me off today is that I had to go to a clients where Evergreen had just put in a new irrigation clock and the yard was not getting enough water. There were two major problems.
1. They left the seasonal adjustment at 70%. Only a complete idiot or someone who just doesn't give a damn would do this during the hottest part of the summer.
2. There was a leak in one of the zones. The same idiot or person who doesn't care never bothered to run a test.
And to make things even WORSE they twice postponed the actual installation!!
Congradulations Evergreen! You WILL lose at least a half dozen clients this year!!

Had a crew come by to get everything running and a staff member took it upon himself to start doing "repairs" without any authorization. Comes to the door and says we owe him $60 cash. After debating some time, he dropped to $40 cash. Then wrote up a receipt without his name on in and refused to give his name. Not trust worthy at all. Watch out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had Evergreen Irrigation blow out our sprinklers in the fall of 2018. The technition rebuilt the main at that time. In the spring of 2019 we went to turn on our sprinklers and the main box blew apart. I called Evergreen to fix it but they couldn't fit me in until the end of May. I asked them if they couldn't fit me in sooner as I have bedding plants and my grass will be dead by then. They said no. I am not very impressed. Maybe someone could work an extra 1/2 hour one day to accommodate a pensioner? Now I have to pay someone else to come for something Evergreen did wrong.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had Dave stop by Saturday, he did more in an hour than was done last year by a so called competitor in 3 hours, if you want a pro call Evergreen and ask for Dave, or anyone he has trained.
Feels so good to get what you pay for, as it should be. Highly recommend Evergreen.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a start-up service done this year and was quoted $85. The tech came replaced 3 rotator heads, fixed a missing emitter, located a drip line that wasn't running to the plant it was supposed to. In total he was here for an hour, and I received an invoice for $250. Assuming his time included in the start-up service was at least 1/2 hr (the tech said they only charge for time spent and not for parts used), it seems I was charged at a rate of $330/hr. Seems a little excessive... will not be using Evergreen in the future.
