Wanting to make a purchase to a more local store and find a pair of new shoes during covid times decided to pay store a visit since it is close to where I live. I had never entered a running room before and was taken aback from my first encounter - Poor customer service w/ rude greeting, condescendingly stated that they had no shoes for my purpose providing no technical or thorough explanation and to check a different store. If the service lady was a knowledge expert, I would've expected for her to share some of that information (analysis on activities, quality of build, width size of shoe, construction etc) to someone who might be interested in making a purchase. Would not recommend this small store unfortunately - and for folks to go somewhere else who are friendlier, share knowledge and have a focus on customers.

Went to RunningRoom at Marine Way Market the other day with my husband. It was the best experience we've had in a shoe store...A shoe store!! Jessica spent time, looking at the way I walk, position of my feet when I walk and helped me and my husband find the right shoes. She is very attentive and knowledgeable and taught us a new way to tie shoelaces ;) I have never in my life had such an experience buying shoes. It felt like I was buying an expensive car :)))) And the only reason I'm giving it four stars is because when my husband removed the insole to check the stitching -it looks like the needle missed a small area (a centimeter or two) so the fabric did not properly get attached to the sole. Same thing with the other shoe.

lovely customer service! I had a defective product and Jessica(?) I believe her name is, helped me exchange it for the perfect running shoe. Not only that, I also learnt a new shoe lace tying technique. I will recommend this store to everyone. Jessica deserves a raise

I came in thinking I wanted a specific shoe but it didn't end up working for me. Janelle was the only one working at this time and she was so helpful, providing many options for me. It was 30 minutes before closing and there were many customers but Janelle was still very attentive. Nothing but great things to say about my experience here. :)

I came in to return a 25th Anniversary present my husband bought for me. I was met with a wishy washy reception and the answer was no. It had been a few months. And she read me the policy act. I explained that my husband has come in more than once to buy gifts. Still nothing. Guess I won't be visiting this store anymore.

Jessica W was very helpful. She demonstrated knowledge and patience with both my mother and me. She analyzed my mother's walk, bring out different shoes and ask key questions with many descriptions/adjectives to capture the best shoe. My mom would walk back and forth to assess her comfort and Jessica didn't get impatient at all! She even encourage her to take take all the time she needed with a smile! Then she had to take care of me! My experience with the Running Room has been great! Thank you so much Jessica :)
