I'm an Edmonton boy and Royal Pizza was our place there.. haven't found all that many places here in my 5 yrs living in the city that could satisfy our cravings... until now! Welcome to YYC guys. It's great to have you. First time ordering from you last night and it was fantastic. Hot, fresh, generous toppings, and delicious. Already excited for our next Pizza night lol

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staying at the hotel across from Royal Pizza. Walked over not knowing what I was looking to eat. Saw Royal Pizza, went in a ordered a medium lean ground beef and onion. They were so quick when I told them where I was staying. Excellent customer service AND pizza. I stay there a few times a year, and next time I/my family are in town Royal Pizza will be on the menu?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ first time trying royal pizza. had shared with three others agreed 5 star. crust done differently from other pizza restaurants. which made for better pizza.
also lots of cheese. found pizza melts in mouth making delicious. highly recommend. will reorder again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pizza is tasty but it's expensive and cut weirdly. Avoid everything else on the menu, they can't seem to create a menu that has consistent quality across it. Hope they don't overcharge you like they did with me. This is a pizza chain, but the company hasn't impressed me and there are far better locally run pizza places. For Greek-style pizza I would try Greco or Jeanne's instead, if you can.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wanted to try after this pizza place opened close to home. Also other online reviews were good. Unfortunately for me I did not have positive reviews.
Pizza was good. Not great. Was cut in squares which was weird. All images online appears that the pizza should’ve been put like pizza.
Wings were gross. Seemed like they didn’t cook long enough, although no raw.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm so happy that finally we have Royal Pizza in south / central Calgary! I first tried Royal up in Edmonton several years ago and have gone out of my way to get it ever since! IMO best pizza in Alberta, probably Canada as well (not fair to compare against American places like NY or Chicago obviously). Customer service was great, even offered to bring my pizza out to the car for me when it was ready, provided some parmesan and chili shakers, just really awesome. Pizza itself is so TASTY, lots of cheese and crisp crunchy crust. I really hope this location is successful, they're tucked in a weird spot, hopefully they get more signage so more people can find them. Definitely check them out, you'll have a new favorite pizza spot if you've never tried Royal before, I promise!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have found my go to spot for everything pizza. There is so much more that I am dying to try. Everything I have tried has left me wanting more. Every time I take my first bite my mouth goes “yeah that’s it that’s what I wanted”. The staff, especially the young owner are hard working, respectful and serve with that special smile. I would encourage anyone to try their favorite and see if your favorite now really becomes your favorite. I would not hesitate to recommend this Royal Pizza location to anyone. My friends and family are sometimes tired of my praises. Well…it’s that good!??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Didn’t know what I wanted to have for supper tonight and since I’m staying in the hotel across from Royal Pizza I decided to order pizza.
Ordered the Large Deluxe Vegetarian Pizza so I’d have leftovers for my drive home tomorrow and I was blown away! Can honestly say this is one of THE BEST pizza’s I’ve ever had!!!
And I love a good pizza!!
So Pizza Royal…keep up the great work, next time I’m in Calgary I will no doubt be ordering this pizza again!!
Can you consider opening up a location in Grande Prairie?!!?
