If anyone from RBC is reading this review should you go online and see that the number shown for NOT HAVING a client card is not good as once you dial in that number you'll be asked the client card and you cannot continue. This is bad!!

Great to visit the Bay Street Office of Royal Bank of Canada. It’s been wondeful to meet few banking professionals from RBC. Great to connect this department to national sustainable Canadian goals.

Royal Bank of Canada has the distinction of being the 5th largest funder of fossil fuel infrastructure in the world. When our world is facing a global climate crisis, it's simply irresponsible that RBC chooses to facilitate infrastructure that contributes so significantly.

It's unbelievable how bad this bank is. About 3 years ago I asked them to close my account and I even didn't think that the account could be not closed. But it was not closed. Then, about 0,5 years ago I got a letter from them that account isn't closed and I need to contact them. I made phone call but call wasn't connected because I don't have their card. I send email and got answer that I need to go to their website and send encrypted email. But to send encrypted email bank ask card that I don't have. I was communicating with them by not encrypted email for relatively long time about how to connect them to close account and get answer from bank why they didn't close account 3 years ago. Finally they send me phone number their to call, and I spoke with some bank representative who take a look in bank's system, found my account, and told me that as result of our conversation he closed my account. But account again wasn't closed. Now, I got mail from bank that account is active. Although I've asked them to close it many times during about 3 years.

Usually I would say, the branch employees are fine but the bank as a whole has awful fossil fuel policies. But this is the main corporate office, so someone in here is responsible for all the $ they put into fossil fuels. 200 billion since the Paris Agreement. In a climate emergency. Could be the board of directors though, there are a lot of fossil fuel execs on the board.
