Excellent service, good prices and top of the line quality. Row farms is a great place if you need any meats or even some homemade dinner.

Had a terrible experience at this shop. The owner was very passive aggressive and not very helpful at all and the prices were through the roof for average/slightly old meat. Would not go back. I feel like this place could have so much more potential if it were run more professionally. What a shame

When I had a specific question, about a specific item, they were more than happy to help, and delivered on what I needed. Genuinely friendly service as well. Thanks so much again. I'm very pleased and impressed.

We were thrilled that Rowe Farms came to Danforth, and we still are. Meats are superb, and there's a cool selection of sides and freezer goods (including frozen Libretto pizzas). Plus, they are SO service focused. Friendly and helpful -- a breath of fresh air. There's another meat store just a few doors east of them (Bespoke I think) but they weren't that friendly or helpful when I went in to check it out. I'll stick with the smiles at Rowe Farms. Top marks all around.

Rowe Farms (manager?) went above and beyond to ensure that my parents would be able to have a delicious warm meal just in time for the Holidays! Delivery and the meal were outstanding and the quality of the produce was amazing. Thank you!

I have had the absolute best experience dealing with Rowe Farms Danforth. It was a large order that I was placing from Vancouver as a gift to a recipient in Toronto. Steve was immensely helpful and attentive and made the whole experience go so smoothly. The order was available exactly when it was meant to be and the recipient has been over the moon with the meat. Thank you Steve for your help and knowledge and thank you Rowe Farms. I will enthusiastically recommend you to one and all.

We order online, for delivery the next day. Highest quality products, and great service. We'll never buy chicken or meat anywhere else. And I like that I can add to my order in the morning of the day of delivery. We highly recommend.

Quality and a Touch of Courage: Rowe Farms, the Danforth It’s not every day that you stroll along the Danforth and a smiling woman hands you a rotisserie chicken. As I stood there, unsure of the proper etiquette in such situations, she explained that Rowe Farms, a well-respected purveyor of organic, locally produced food, had just opened at 448 Danforth Ave (a few steps east of Chester, north side.) She invited me in and I went! (After all, she had given me a chicken! You try saying no.) I was familiar with Rowe’s other locations. This store is different. The emphasis here is clearly on its meats, making it a bit of competition for both The Meat Department, a butcher further west, and the Carrot Common, an all-organic grocery store also further west. It’s bright, well-laid out, and filled with friendly staff. Still, I was hungry and wanted to get my chicken home so I left. As you would too, Dear Reader, I felt a tad guilty about my rather cavalier attitude towards reciprocity in the art of chicken-gifting so I returned a few days later. And again a few days after that. And again! In short, the quality and variety of their meat is outstanding. I have now tried their pork, their dry-aged beef and, of course, their rotisserie chicken, the best I have yet found in Toronto: large, perfectly roasted, and not over-salty. (Yes, I mean you, Costco!) The staff is knowledgeable, accessible, and courteous. The grocery section is small but intriguing and contains (organic) products I have not found elsewhere. Their fresh and frozen prepared foods are also tempting. Why do I mention courage? Opening a store like this in the middle of our current Germageddon is a risky venture. The street-buzz I’ve heard about Rowe’s is all very positive, but the lock-up and the subsequent reopening – β€œGet me to a patio, now!” – has affected them. This is one new business that enhances the Danforth’s ability to serve as the neighbourhood market and it deserves a chance to establish itself. So slip on your sandals and give them a try. After all, that chicken isn’t going to cross the road by itself!
