My family absolutely loves this place! They always take the best care of our fur babies and I cannot thank them enough! Free throw, always keep you informed what the bill would be and give you options. They make you feel like family and they treat your pets like their kids!

I can’t say enough great things about Rose Valley Vet. The team is staff are always so friendly, understanding, and explain things so well. Our dog had surgery there and the experience was so great. Side note, they have LGBTQ stickers at the reception. I always LOVE to see an LGBTQ welcoming company. Dr Oz and their team kickass

Dr Oz and team have always been amazing to us over many years, taking care of our dogs and cats, helping us through end of life, and answering our questions over the phone via reception and even on weekends. Dr Oz has personally taken emergency calls on his days off and given advice (even twice told me to wait, which I was grateful because things did get better, and it saved me a lot of money), and always been loving and compassionate. He is honest about what he needs to do for proper treatment, always goes the least expensive/exploratory route first, and truly cares about your pet's health. I have never experienced him price gouging, being dishonest, or guiding me in the wrong direction. He has treated both cats for their spay, vaccinations, deworming, weight loss issues, mystery vomiting and diarrhea, and their surgeries both healed without any further issues and cleanly. He has euthanized my 9 year old bunny, and was a strong shoulder, reassuring us she was just old, it was time, and the right call. He has treated our retriever who came to us with Strangles, and has allergies because of it, and that has been an ongoing thing with chronic yeast ear and skin issues, and has even seen a dermatologist vet within the office. Our boy has been on antibiotics, steroids, ear drops, ear cleaners and a special diet already in his 3 years. He has also been treated for kennel cough and the staff and Oz were just amazing through the tough and long treatments of that scary situation. Dr Oz did his neutering for us during Covid lockdown and we had no healing issues with that. During Covid, their organization and care has been obvious, keeping clients out and pets in, to protect staff and keep everyone safe. This has for certain made more work, as their front staff have to come out to greet, take more phone calls, manually write down issues and log them, and I imagine deal with sometimes difficult people. They have smiled through it all, and its obvious they love to help. Their abandoned and rescued cats inside have always been a bright spot during a visit, and I love that cats that might end up in a shelter have sometimes ended up here, greeting everyone with relaxed sleepy stretches. I would recommend using their services if you want a Vet Family, and not just a vet. I feel safe and comfortable using Rosevalley Vet and the team, and have never had a better vet.

We are so thankful we found this Vet clinic and Dr. Oz. The entire staff surpassed our expectations and went above and beyond. We had to put our 17 year old dog down and Dr. Oz and the staff were all so kind and compassionate. We were also allowed all the time we needed/wanted before and after saying our good byes to Ben. Dr. Oz even called and checked up on us a week later to see how we were doing. He really had a sincerity about him as well as did his staff. I highly recommend this Veterinary Clinic. I’d give more stars if I could!

I wish I could give a thousand stars!!! When I moved to Kelowna I initially wanted to take my cats to Rose Valley based on the reviews of Dr Oz. We ended up taking our cat that had a congenital heart condition to Trilake in Winfield only because they do echos there. Biggest mistake I ever made. One year ago I experienced the most traumatic day of my life at Trilake when we had to euthanize our 8 year old Himalayan 3 hours after learning he was in kidney failure. He had been diagnosed stage 2 kidney disease and started on medication and all new food one month before. The doctor told us she was being pulled in multiple directions and stated "I have 4 minutes." We had no time to ask all the questions we wanted to ask, we were told the only humane thing to do was euthanize, and were left traumatized and with absolutely no closure. She didn't let us know when she was actually doing the euthanasia; everything about that day was horrific. She took him from my arms and when I saw her removing the IV I asked what she was doing then saw him and asked if he was sleeping only to be told "no, he's gone." I fell to the ground, it was honestly the worst moment of my life. Being busy is no excuse and that is an experience that should have been handled with care and grace. I sent a novel long email about our experience and the Veterinarian never even reached out. There was a kind and empathetic manager there that did reach out to me, but of course only the Veterinarian would be able to answer the questions I needed to ask. It would have been so simple for her to call when she wasn't busy and given me the time to ask questions and get the closure that I needed. I would give anything to have that day back and take our precious baby to Dr Oz instead. After hearing about my friend's experience saying goodbye to her baby with Dr Oz, I knew I needed to talk to him. She told me he was so kind and caring, and lit candles, and called the next day to make sure she knew she'd made the right decision and that she was okay.  It took me a year of crying endlessly and not being able to properly grieve before I finally mustered up the courage to call Rose Valley. I said I'd pay anything to make an appointment just to talk about what happened. Dr Oz called me back himself right away, had me send over all the labs and medical history, and answered every single question I had with compassion and empathy. He told me we did make the right decision and fully explained why. I finally have the closure I needed. He didn't charge me a cent and told me I could call him again anytime. Words can not express the gratitude for the kindness and compassion and the gift of closure Dr Oz gave me and my family. I will be taking all of my pets to him in the future, and will tell everyone I know to do the same. He is truly special and cares in a way I have never experienced. A truly exceptional human. ❀️
