★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was here not too long ago and I had the worst experience. I'm new to Victoria and roots (used to be) my favourite store. It started when I walked in and did not get a hello or anything (the store was empty and there were two girls "working") two blonde girls and one had glasses. I shopped around and made my way to the back of the store to try on a sweatshirt and waited three minutes while these two finished their conversation. Finally I tried it on without a room and just used the mirror THEN one of them came up to me to ask if I needed help when I explained that I wanted a room the girl let me in and said her name was Savannah and closed the door and did not check back if I needed a size.
I will never be coming back to this location awful customer service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The lady who helped us find the right size was great. Terrible customer service from the store manager. We tried to exchange a sweat pants and hoodie set for one size larger that my mom bought our son for Christmas. It was on sale when she bought it in August. They assured her we would be able to exchange it for a larger size after Christmas, if needed. The store manager wanted to charge us the difference of $49 because the item wasn't on sale anymore. Its the same item, just one size bigger. I think this was completely unacceptable and I'm very disappointed in the way we were treated. Roots has been one of our favorite stores for years because of the outstanding quality of the clothing. We buy lots of clothes from this store and don't feel like valued customers at all. If I could give negative stars I would.
