I have dealt with store for over 15 years as a general contractor and found certain staff are great while others should look for a different job. I and others have been left standing watching staff do anything but serve people thus costing me money when I have 2 sttaff waiting to be served and if thats not frustrating the same staff go to the yard to get served and there isnt enouph staff or any on site to load your material. Many of the good staff have left and gone to Home Hardware because of management conflict .I have been dealing with Tim and his awesome staff for 3 years now and find them so freindly and knowledgable ....The owners need to take a hard look at what is going on with this store...and make some big changes, but on a positive note there is plenty of parking most of the time.

Horrible customer service. They also refuse to do returns from other Rona stores. Everything is extremely overpriced by almost double. Tried to find a simple 1" galvanized flange and they charge $8! Where homedepot charges under $5. Talk about taking advantage of being in a small town. I rather drive to kelowna to have more options, cheaper prices and better customer service.

I have been to this store couple times now. I had one of the RONA giftcard, tried to use at the till. Staff at till wasn’t aware how to process! He explained to me very kindly about new company change over procedure. Called young lady in the office. She came to till, helped out within seconds. Smiling, friendly, sweet accent. Flooring lady was really helpful as well. Busy store. Found most of staff on the phone dealing with customers.

BRUTAL customer experience. Berated by the Pat (the manager) in front of other customers and employees. Completely unnecessary and unbelievably unprofessional. He seemed to enjoy himself emboldened by his status - as manager (??) or maybe because I am female. Quite the role model for staff. Pat flipped out when I suggested they change their sign. I said that because FVBS (their alter ego) won't honour Rona gift cards which they told me BEFORE my large purchase they would. Seems they are Rona when it works and FVBS when it doesn't. Strangely, Pat told me the exact same thing happened to another customer recently with a similar large purchase. How can a store manager be so out of touch he would tell me that? I'm not a fancy manager but maybe there should be a memo informing staff so they can answer customers correctly when asked. Save the customers a little pain. But like I said, I'm not a fancy manager. My last experience with Pat was when I ordered $10,000+ in appliances from Rona Kelowna on the offer of free delivery. They reneged and Pat was less than no help. He actually confused the facts and became somewhat explosive when I talked to him about trying to find a different solution. In the end Kelowna Rona came through. In the past 3 years I have easily personally spent $24+k in the Trail Maglio/Rona and $20+k in Kelowna Rona. I'm not a contractor. To me that's a lot. I will never again step foot in the Trail Maglio/Rona/FVBS store and immediately canceled 3 doors I ordered before the tirade. Sad thing is, this is a local store but I've heard many similar stories to mine.

Paint Department staff today was extremely helpful with helping us choose the correct product for our application. She knew everything there is to know about the products they carry, and made our selected purchase very easy!

The store is helpful in any building adventure. Was able to return unused building supplies. They were so knowledgable with every question I could ask. Really down to earth. The wood quality was superb.

All these 5 star reviews must be fake. Shopped there twice since it became Rona and both times customer service has been very poor.
