★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Exemplary customer service at this very clean and well stocked Rona store located right on Islington next to McDonalds and 7 Eleven.
Unlike many other hardware stores this store is not only very well stocked and well organized, but also actually cares about helping customers ?
I had received wonderful service today from a very helpful and friendly Rona associate - Dylan.
Dylan not only found the item I was looking for, but also helped me to cary it to my vehicle. That was very kind of him !
What a wonderful example of customer service from a Truly Canadian hardware store chain.
Lots of free parking spots in the plaza parking lot.
Handicapped parking spots near the entrance. Wheelchair accessible entrance and wheelchair accessible store.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Purchased a metal mesh (was no price tag on shelf), and just later realized the 20$ each price (Home Depot and Lowes it’s 7-8$).
They just embarrassing their workers with their behaviour.
The customer service and return process was good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awful. Waited more than 20 minutes for help, no one showed up. Even went to back desk and asked for help, went back to aisle and waited another 5+ minutes. Only to come out to main aisle to find person I asked assisting another customer who was behind me at help desk.
When asked to speak to manager he was busy. Hence, went to Home Hardware (Canadian Chain Store) and was in and out of store in 5 mins with item in hand.

People are pretty friendly, the guy working in the plumbing area last Thursday went out his way to ask if I needed help. It can be hard to watch 2 or 3 people standing behind one cash register.... But it was half an hour before closing and I assume they already balanced the til

On my first visit, I was greeted by Abhishek in the main isle, who was a great help in learning more about my general inquiries in multiple areas of the store. He was kind and personable, but best of all he was able to relate to the project I have, and recommended a product I previously had not heard about in deck stains.
My second visit, product expert Myron was able to help me flawlessly find the right doorknob & lock for my specific need. I left the store knowing more about how each works, and was immensely satisfied when I got home to install it without any issues.
Over a great chunk of this week, I had my eye on a shed that was on clearance. After speaking with Justin, and his more than accommodating help with the item, I was confident in my purchase decision.
Shopping here was a significantly more human experience than shopping online, and it felt great to support a store which employs and trains top notch individuals like these and the others I had the pleasure of interacting with on my visits. 12/10 experience.
