We are so lucky to have found this team. Talk about worth the wait!!! We had a stunning table and chairs designed from scratch by Craig & Luca. Jean really came through for us and made sure that the manufacturing of the order was completed and that we got our delivery in time before our big photo shoot. Many thanks to the team.

UPDATE: As of Jan 2022, in regards to the issues I outlined below, they have provided me a full refund. _______________________________________________________________________ Jean Stephens and the Design Republic, you should be absolutely ashamed and embarrassed with the level of service and defective product I received from your store. I have never in my life had such a horrendous experience, an absolute nightmare. I am forever scared from buying furniture because of you and your unethical business practices. You have left me with no choice but to leave this review after completely ghosting me and never giving me a replacement chair I was promised early this year. 1. I ordered chairs from this company on November 19, 2019 and still am left with a defective product to this day. 2. I was absolutely ghosted by Jean Stephens after she promised me a third chair, as a replacement, for the defective chair fabric I was left with on one of the two chairs. 3. They originally ordered the wrong chair fabric and I had to wait for over a year for the chairs to even be delivered. When I finally received the product, delivered by Jean Stephens, it was still defective! 4. When Jean arrived, with the defective chair, she said she was 'so embarrassed' and thanked me for how patient and kind I was through this whole process. I was very understanding and didn't feel like getting upset would do anything anyway. However, after the whole ordeal and promising me a third chair, absolutely nothing has come of it and I am not pleased that Jean took advantage of my kindness and confused it for weakness. 5. Jean, I promise you, whenever I have a conversation about furniture with people who need it, I am sure to tell them my nightmare story about you and the DR. You do not deserve business after the way you treated me. You should have given me a full refund and taken the loss like a real, ethical business owner, after how long and tedious it was to get two of the most basic chairs in furniture history that are still DEFECTIVE. Jean, I still have all our emails and communication, everything you said, and every time I tried to contact you. I always treated you with respect and kindness and you treated me, your customer, like an absolute fool and like my time or money was a joke to you. Your behavior is disgusting and I hope you know, you dont deserve my business or anyones.

Wonderful experience purchasing a couch from this location. The options are suitable for condos and the customization is diverse. New location is spacious with lots of parking.

I feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with Craig 1:1 to design a functional work from home space. I came in to the store feeling frustrated with being confined to working out of a small condo. DesignRepublic made it possible to work around the challenges of living and working in a tiny space. I really appreciated Craig taking the time to review the measurements provided and thoughtfully developing a system that integrates STASH shelving and a matching desk. The workstation looks like it was built into the condo unit, as if it was always meant to be there! Jean was wonderful about following up regarding supplier delays as a result of the pandemic. She took the time to explain the process they go through to develop their products in collaboration with their supplier, helping me better understand the challenges in getting the final product. If you're looking to purchase high quality furniture for long term use, I HIGHLY recommend working with DesignRepublic. Certainly worth the wait!

Very happy with my custom counter height table with quartz countertop (and caster wheels to move around) for a small kitchen seating area, which can also be used for additional prep area. Not easy to find a place that offers local, well made, custom furniture. Price reasonable, great service (despite some Covid related delay). Their new west end store well situated and worth checking out. Thanks again, Luca and Jean!

We ordered our sofa on-line. They were always prompt and polite with answering my many questions. The sofa took a while to be made and to arrive but this was to be expected. We love our sofa, the quality is wonderful and design republic did everything they could to make it a positive customer experience.

From start to finish, dealing with this company has been a very positive experience. Communication with the company was easy and was followed up by emailed information. The item was delivered on time as promised, assembled and set up in the required room. The person who delivered the sofa bed also took away all the wrappings, cardboard etc.

Thank you, Design Republic, and Jean and Craig! Another great transaction, this time for a new washable rug at a very reasonable price. Perfect for our house because of the people with dust allergies. Also looks amazing in our living room. Will definitely return to upgrade more of our home's furniture.
