Stay away. First two items I ordered were out. No problem, it happens. I ordered my burgers, with the $9.99 coupon, each order came to $19. Makes no sense, but fine. Staff seemed really confused with the orders and kept mixing orders. I checked my order before leaving and all the wrappers were properly labelled. Got home, nothing was right. Even if my order was right, the quality of the food is concerning. The burger patty was burnt to a crisp. There was an ingredient underneath it that resembled a piece of cardboard. After my first bite, it may have just been. It was inedible. Mortifyingly bad in fact. I courteously messaged the franchisor to let them know what was happening, and never received a response. Clearly, nobody cares. Neither should the customers: HARD PASS.

The cashier had ZERO understanding of how to operate the till. I had a coupon for $9.99 combo - burger, fries and drink . She charged me $19. I got her to re-enter it - Yup, $19 again. To explain her total lack of understanding, she told me the coupon was for a drink and fries and I would have to pay for the burger on top of that - WHAT?? Not according to the coupon which CLEARLY states it is for the three items at $9.99. She insisted that drink and fries were $10 and a burger was $9. What the heck??? After three attempts I gave up and went elsewhere. I will NEVER waste my time there again and you shouldn't either.

What a joke! I ordered a combo and she only punched in a burger when I paid for the ridiculously overpriced food I noticed there were no fries in the fryer. She said she didn’t hear me so I was shocked to see I paid almost $20 for a burger only. Anyway as I’m watching this lady grill the burger she starts pressing and stabbing my burger with her spatula. And then proceeds to flip the burger no joke like 10 times over and over again whilst continuing to press the juices and stab the burger. I was blown away… no manager on site just clueless employees Needless to say the burger was dryer than sawdust. This company as a whole needs to shut down and re train. No to South St Burger! Absolute joke!

Got the chicken burger. It was tiny like others mentioned. One of the girls working there was extremely slow at putting toppings on and very quiet so every customer I saw couldn’t hear her at all. Chicken burger definitely overpriced for what you get. Flavour maybe a 2.5/5 on the chicken. There’s the issue of not getting an order number mentioned to you if you don’t take your receipt so the burger assembler will ask you what number you are but you aren’t given one so there’s a lot of confusion. The manager or owner persons service is much better he he knows what’s going on at least. I saw the quiet worker give the food to the other girl because she couldn’t get the person standing in front of her to hear her because she is so quiet. I’m sure she’s new and all but the owner/manager was right there and should’ve stepped in or managed his staff

Just had two delicious burgers made the way I wanted them! They have a good gluten free bun And lots of toppings which is always a necessity for me. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I'm glad I stopped in and didn't waste extra money on ordering in. I WILL BE BACK!!

I had the burger with bacon and fries combo. My wife had the burger with bacon only. I upgraded my fries to a large Fries which then made the combo 7.90 on top of the 825 for the hamburger plus 1.45 for bacon. They asked at the register what condiments we wanted but I indicated what to see the condiments to choose. When our burgers were being assembled we chose our toppings from a very tired looking assortment condiments that were near the bottom of the containers holding them. The sliced dill pickles looked dried out and like most of the other condiments looked like the had been there for several days. The fries that I received were over cooked and the hamburger buns on both our burgers were dry and stale. There was a package of buns on the counter in a plastic bag and gave me the impression they were just picked up from a reduced bin at a grocery store. We were the only customers in this location while we ate and we both felt we were at a wake for a dead hamburger restaurant. I have been here many times before and previously the service and food quality was great so maybe this was just a bad day. If my experience today is indicative Of the quality now, I don’t give this place much chance of lasting the month. The root beer was good though.

Chicken was flat and dry, Burgers were extremely Dry, Sweet potato fries were 0vercooked like Dry twigs, and lastly the fries were cold and hard. All for close to 70$ Won’t be back!

I could not give negative stars... Where to start... I got someone-else's order. Nothing was what i ordered also my burgers were cold as stone. Both buns were burned but was cleaned by scraping the burned top. The beef patty tasted not very fresh... I was hungry and tired and did not go back to return the burgers but I should have done that and give them a piece of my mind. After the first bite both burgers went in the garbage bin. I think this location is ruining the reputation of the South St. Burger :(
