★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do Not Order the Blackened Chicken!!!Atmosphere was nice enough, clean for sure. Best part of the meal were the drinks and sides. Pulled pork was average but not enough sauce. Ribs were Luke warm at best and For the first time in 20 years I refused to pay for something. The blackened chicken was a dried out piece of baked clean breast, thinking probably a bunch of unseasoned breasts were thrown in the oven several hours prior on low enough heat to dry it out completely, and when they served it to me it was briefly warmed in a microwave before tossing on an eighth of a teaspoon of seasoning. It was hard, dried out white and cold. Seriously shockingly bad. I will not go back. Primarily due to the chicken. But also due to the waitresses reaction that what I was served was typical and acceptable way to serve blackened chicken. Lol. Thank goodness for good company. I enjoyed the drinks and carried on.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time here. My wife and I had chicken and waffles, firecrackers, and bread with cheese and jam. Everything tasted great. Our server was very attentive and responsible. Overall a nice experience, and we would definitively visit again.

There’s something to be said for going to a place where you just know it’s going to be good. Ken and Nicole made sure we had a fantastic evening. Not a bad way to celebrate a birthday.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely disappointing. We came here for Mother's Day with a reservation booked for 6PM. After sitting down and taking our order, it took 80 minutes to get our food.
The food itself was mixed. Zeke's Burger and the Chef's Lodge Burger with Brisket came pretty dry (the brisket especially, as it didn't come with the BBQ sauce as described). The Atlantic Salmon was good, as was the Blackened Chicken Burger. However, it was not worth the time we waited.
They blamed the lateness of the food on the "Mother's Day Rush". Yet, when we came, there were maybe 4 other tables occupied in the lounge and when I checked the other area, I could only see about 5 more tables occupied as well. They were not at 100% capacity by any means.
The waitress first tried to make it better by offering us free drinks, which turned out she wasn't able to do after we ordered. So then another lady came to our table (I assume the manager) and said she could give the table free dessert instead, which we accepted. However, when it was time to order the desserts, it suddenly became 25% off a dessert, not free. The constant offering and taking back, in addition to the food being ridiculously late made this a terrible first impression.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here one afternoon when it wasn’t super busy and it took awhile for anyone to notice we came in. After we were seated our server was very quick to get our drinks and take our order, and the food was amazing. One of the best Rock Creek locations I’ve been to.
