Riverside Park Beach

Very nice sand, beautiful view, beautiful park and the water isn't too bad at all. I enjoyed my visit and on a Wednesday afternoon we were the only ones here. Probably a great place to stop and eat your lunch as well.

I galloped my way here eager, happy and EXCITED to see the beautiful lake. I’m actually from grand prarie so Kamloops is such a great treat I could come here ALL year LONG. anyways, to be specific I thoroughly enjoy the season of the ducks when the ducks are out and about I actually saw one choke almost to death on a rib during rib fest season he gulped it and flew away i’m actually wondering if he ever did be able to expel that big bone from his circular hole thing at the waist down. No idea but I wish he’d fly back because I actually unleash so much fierce wind here that sounds like ducks quacking so if you’re ever on a date and have to let loose take her by the beach walk and throw some rocks laughing while the ducks are quacking and trust me it camouflages so well like no one would even know! Like I can get these ducks to quack in demand there’s an ice cream store just up the road so like I will come back after my failed dates (yeah weird even when my flatulence is covered by quacking I can’t impress these women, I try very hard though) but yeah after my failed dates I like to get some ice cream and go walk down by the water and feed the ducks and we practice all types of quack splatastic noises cause I got so many different types of belching out my circular hole so like I let them ALL know what I eat prior to arrival so like yeah. Idk I’ve been doing this for so long I think i’m going to ask out one of them on a date, Susan understands me and like I know she quacks when she hears my ace and doesn’t even care of my teeth plaque or even when I listen to anthrax and get blackout at the beach she has aten fluid that expelled out of my mouth hole before like it might be meant to be. I’ll update you guys though, have a wonderful week!

For a beach in the middle of a city it has it all. Fishing, swimming, paddling, boating, walking, bathing, water park, ice cream, food trucks, playground, tennis courts, basketball, gigantic trees, huge lawn, stage with live music, paved trail, bathrooms, and ice cream nearby. Beach is packed sand, good for kids, lifeguard during summer, and water is decent. Watch for drug paraphernalia, but city workers do a good job of cleaning up.

So much fun! Stopped in for a couple of games of pickleball. Peoplle were super friendly and welcoming. Can't wait to visit again :)

We hit up both food trucks because well why not !. I forgot to get a picture of my meatball sub from eatsamore but it was a 10 outa 10 soo good ! I wish we had more food trucks more often down there. The beautiful big trees add lots of shade in the kamloops heat which is so amazing to have.

Beautiful water front park with sand beach and play ground. Nice place to hang out in the hot summer. Also good spot for Sunset

A beach on the Thompson river. Very nice. It’s nice and sandy. The beach is in Riverside park. There are washroom facilities available and a change room. There is a nice pier and walkway right beside the beach.

Beautiful large park on the river. Walking paths, beach area, waterpark for kids, concession stand & bandstand. Tennis courts & community garden. Right downtown. Hotels & Event center right by. April 27, 22 - majority of park & riverwalk under construction. Playground still available but Concession is torn down. (Photo's added)
