★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I won’t recommend this place to rent kayaks. Employee over here are also arrogant.Also they booked our kayak but they gave different type of kayak which was completely different style and your clothes also get wet more than the actual one’s. Also location for kayak is not as impressive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have had the wonderful opportunity to take my son on a Zodiac inflatable boat cruise with River Adventures in Grand Bend three times now. I can think of no better or more relaxing way to spend a summer's day than exploring the nooks and crannies of the Ausable river in your one personal dinghy. My son has numerous health challenges and is confined to a wheelchair but at no time on his adventure was I ever concerned for his safety. Mark and his awesome team were exceptionally well organized and took care of every detail allowing Aidan to thoroughly enjoy the day while I relaxed in comfort in my own boat. He was able to steer it by himself despite having a substantial tremor and generalized weakness. With the current pandemic situation going on, I was unsure of what to expect but the team all wore masks, wiped everything down and took great care to ensure our safety. As a health care professional, I was impressed and wished more businesses would follow their lead. We will be back as these boat excursions are among our favourite ways to spend a warm day and are one of the few activities that can be thoroughly enjoyed by the elderly, the very young and those with disabilities. I look forward to our next adventure soon!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rude front office staff. They had enough single sitter seat in kayaks available still they didn’t provide us saying they were costlier once and only to use in nights(doesn’t make sense). Why do renters care about how much kayak cost(car rental provider offers luxury cars when they don’t have enough regular cars available). In short, not good experience with the front office staff.

I didn't think I'd ever try kayaking until I started following their FB page. I couldn't have asked for a better crew and company for my first adventure! They went above and beyond to ensure everyone was comfortable, had fun and enjoyed the great river paddle.

Took the girls for a morning paddle! We loved the serenity. We saw so many different critters enjoying the peaceful morning.
Paddled outta main beach. Played in some waves and paddled back.
Looking forward to doing it again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We did the night glow kayaking on Saturday night and it was an awesome experience. Mark and Becky were both amazing in guiding our group. They were very kind and non-judgemental. They provided me with a little more guidance, as it had been quite some time since I had last gone kayaking and I had a bit of a wobbly start! They gave me the confidence and reassurance I needed to complete and enjoy this incredible adventure. They truly care about the people who come out to kayak, which left me with an outstanding impression. We will definitely be back next year. Thank you, River Adventures for a great time!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honestly the best experience and amazing staff. Did I get wet …. Yes ! Do I expect when you are on a BOAT with a PADDLE coming in and out of the water to get wet, also a yes. I did the glow in the dark kayaking and cannot say enough amazing things about the experience. The staff went above and beyond for us and the other members of the night. Honestly I can’t say enough about how amazing of a local business this is.
