Who We Are

Nestled amongst the majestic pines on the shores of Dogtooth Lake sits Luther Village which exists to give all individuals the opportunity for growth and renewal of mind, body and soul.

Fellowship and community are two common words that people of all ages believe of the camp. Luther Village has programs available for families, adults, and youth campers which range from a weekend retreat to multi-week long programs.

Our cabins range from rustic log cabins, A-frames to larger accommodation facilities.  There are two campgrounds with hook-ups including long-term camping sites.

Come and join the camp for a weekend getaway, a week of programming, or for an opportunity to get out on the lake for some fishing!

Our Mission

Under God's grace, Luther Village exists to provide Christian ministry in a harmonious outdoor setting to give all individuals the opportunity for growth and renewal of mind, body and soul. 

Luther Village is known for its fellowship and community in addition to being located in a unique setting in the Canadian Shield. Our summer programs highlight these traits, and our interactive programs of hiking, fire building, archery, and survival skills will teach campers all useful camp skills

From rustic log cabins to newer luxurious cabins, our cabin accommodations can house families, individuals or groups. Our campground sites provide hook-ups for water, electricity and sewer. Our Dining Hall can seat up to 85 people comfortably, and the Schewe Chapel and Wolf's Ridge are available for a variety of uses and setups.

Our History

It all began when an old rustic fishing/hunting camp (Hayberg’s Echo Bay Camps) came up for sale in 1964 and was purchased by the Manitoba Northwestern Ontario Lutheran Synod.  Luther Village has been going strong for over 55 years!
