It helps us access medical services because the centre has a team of medical professionals providing multi health services, and it closely responds to community needs because the centre integrates health and social services and is governed by this local community!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I attended an excellent harm reduction workshop here, and also received Naloxone training. The nurse and community health worker were really friendly and I could feel they understood and cared deeply about the specific needs of this community.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can't say enough positive things about RISE! I have been so impressed with the genuine well-rounded care I have received there, I feel so looked after and supported. I've had the help of their Community Health Workers to navigate some govt bureaucracy. Through their support I was able to get all the right forms I needed for something, and they knew what I needed to do for it (thank you!!!). I have also seen doctors and nurse practitioners there, and really appreciated their attentive care, I felt listened to and that they really consider all aspects of my well-being, not just the one thing I might have contacted them about. We are very lucky in this neighbourhood to have RISE!

I noticed a great improvement in my hip after the first visit with her, and it continually gets better with treatment. She is warm, knowledgeable and has nimble fingers. An amazing healing woman! Thank you <3
