Further to the comment below, seems like you are going the extra mile to ensure that customers get a great experience if they end up ordering what they want. Why not extend this approach to helping customers who make a mistake. I just reviewed the return policy of other bike shops I deal online with and it turns out that they do accept return and of course the expectation is that the customer will have to pay for shipping, which is reasonable given that part of the mistake is on them. Having an online store front brings great opportunities to extend your reach to a broader market, unfortunately this does come with some additional headache like this particular one that you can't just ignore. The ability to return good is a standard expectation these days, please consider rethinking your approach and, while it might cost you some $ in the short term, I believe that you will benefit from it in the long run. I'm bumping this to 3 stars because my intent is not to hurt your business but to have you rethinking this part of your approach

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pete was awesome!! I purchased one of his demo/display bikes a month ago and honestly could not be happier. I’ve done a LOT of ultra distant xc races over the years on some high end custom built up race bikes and his attention to detail with this build is second to none, so much so I’m tempted to race my Fatback Corvus in the summer!
He answered all my questions and added a few good stories for good measure! And a month later is still answering the odd question. A pleasure to do business with and will again for sure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Huge shout out to Pete and Ridefatbikes.ca The attention to detail, professional attitudes and end result of my custom 9:Zero:7 fatbike ride is more than I could have ever expected! Pete, whom I dealt with start to finish, imparted his knowledge and wisdom to ensure everything fit and that the bike suited my needs and helped to keep me on the right path. They were also very up front about price range for something that would suite my needs.
The delivery (other side of the country) was easy and smooth, they have a system and it works! Overall I could not be happier (I have had a number of custom bikes) with my custom ride and would look to Ridefatbikes again for my next purchase and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great bike build!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic experience. Pete is really knowledgeable and takes the time to explain and describe everything to you about the bike and the process. He is a fantastic guy who is good to work with, passionate about what he does, and genuinely really cares about his customers. He really goes above and beyond and is very proactive and generous with his time. I bought a beautiful high-end bike but have had some unexpected sizing issues (that were impossible for anyone to anticipate) and he has helped me assess, analyze, and work through them in detail. As a result, we have found an interesting and creative solution to explore. Would recommend to anyone without question.
