About Rideau Pharmacy
Tim has a BSc in Pharmacy and a Masters Degree in Pharmacology from the University of Alberta. He has been practicing pharmacy since 1989. Not only is Tim a wonderful pharmacist devoted to your care, but he also enjoys aspects of physical fitness. When he's not in the pharmacy, he's out running, cross-country skiing, or marathon canoeing. Tim has been active for over 25 years with the Rotary Club of Calgary and plays guitar in The Hippocratic Oath Big Band.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Walked in to see if a pharmacist could prescribe me a small amount of my oral contraceptive, as I ran out and needed another prescription from my doctor. Most pharmacies I’ve been to have been able to give me a small amount to bridge the gap in the rare case my prescription has run out. A younger pharmacist was about to do this for me until an older pharmacist walked in saying no they absolutely couldn’t. It felt quite hostile and I felt judged for not having my prescription ready. The policies should be more clear so there’s no confusion over prescribing.
I wouldn’t recommend this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Outstanding customer service! My elderly mother uses Rideau Pharmacy and they have personally gone above and beyond many times to take care of her medication needs. I am so very grateful to the entire staff! They are always on top of every situation with my mother, and being that I live out of town, they work with me to keep me posted on her situation. It is very difficult to find a business that truly cares about their customers, but the staff team here provide 'First Class Customer Care', which in turn, helps to give me peace of mind for my mother.

My son has a medical condition and picks up medication monthly and they always have it ready on time with a friendly hello ! They really do go above and beyond which is rare these days !

The person behind the desk acted very rude, asking if I was juicing and what I was taking. I don’t understand I never have a problem with buying these types of items on the east coast of Canada
