Ricky's All Day Grill - Hinton

This was one of the WORST, and I mean WORST restaurant experiences in my life, I kid you not. We were staying in the Best Western, which is attached to this poor excuse for a restaurant, and went to grab something to eat at approximately 8 p.m. There was a snowstorm outside and there weren't many people inside, even though it was a Saturday night. In spite of the many empty tables, we waited 50 minutes for our order to arrive. Other people who came in after us received their meals before we did, including a nearby couple who didn't ever get part of the meal they had ordered. When ours finally arrived, it was barely edible. My husband's fish was dry and overcooked. His cole slaw looked like a stomach bug ready to happen, and made sometime back in 1983. My hamburger bun was way overtoasted to the point it was a dark brown, dry bunch of crumbs, and the hamburger itself tasted more fishy than my husband's fish. The fries were just boring old frozen fries, totally forgettable. Those two things, fish & chips and a cheeseburger with fries, plus a couple of soft drinks, cost nearly fifty bucks, including a tip the waitress didn't deserve. Honestly the food would have been better and faster and cheaper at McDonald's! Save your money! Save your taste buds! DON'T GO THERE! I've never written such a negative review, but this experience was a total waste of money and time. It's too bad, because the hotel it's attached to is really nice and the staff are awesome. The management had better pull up its socks or this joint will be out of business in no time.

We had a great dinner tonight. Liver and onions were moist and delicious. Chicken Ginger bowl was amazing. Our server Jessica was friendly and very efficient. We will definitely be back!!

This was our first time being at Ricky's and we had an absolutely wonderful breakfast!! Presentation was impressive, and it tasted just as good !! In addition to the great food we also had great service ? Our server, Alaina managed her tables without missing a beat, she was cheerfully friendly and efficient!! Our new favourite when we pass through Hinton!!

We ordered fish n chips (brave? In Hinton) and a signature burger. We had quick polite service and the food? Fantastic, fresh, hot. Really happy because this was our compromise choice? and we are both full and happy!

We went for supper and my wife Lorna, who is very particular about her fish and chips took a chance and order they fish and chip plate. She was amazed at how good it was. Chef Hiren did an awesome job on the fish and all other aspects of our meal. Seriously if you like great food you have to come out and try Ricky’s all day grill in Hinton. The prices were also good and portions were excellent.

Awesome! I just ate there a couple hrs ago. Had the pleasure of talking to the young Cook, who just so happened to be standing up front when I was being seated. I asked him what he recommended and he said the bourbon burger. And he wasn't lying. It was delicious. The hostess was also friendly and fast. Highly recommend this Ricky's

We went during happy hour and ordered the mussels, chicken fingers and 2 beers. The chicken fingers were moist and crunchy and tasted delicious. The mussels were in a tomato based sauce that was very flavourful with toasted bread. Amazing value given the portions during happy hour. Absolutely fantastic experience! We will be back.

Elaina was a marvelous waitress! Eggs Benny were flavorful and prepared to taste and the coffee flowed freely. Great breakfast stop, and you get a discount if staying at the adjacent hotel.
