Days Inn by Wyndham Hinton

Great budget hotel with nice service. Rooms were clean with well stacked amenities. My room card wasn’t working. Which was promptly fixed by front desk. I would just recommend having more staff at breakfast (6am-10am). There is always a lineup after 8am with one person serving which takes long. The lady is lovely but they need 2-3 staff to accommodate breakfast. Other than that don’t expect, ritz Carleton service for budget prices. I would stay here again with my family.

Excellent wide room, lots of amenities and nice bed. Smiling staff, clean rooms, breakfast, home away from home. Enjoyed our 2days stay. Mr Sunny in front desk did a hassle-free booking as soon as we arrived in property. Definitely we will be back . Thanks

My family and I travelled for 7 hours from home to check in here... We asked for an early check in but to no avail and the icing on the cake? Even at 3 pm (check in), the rooms weren’t ready. The kids in our family were restless in the car after waiting for 30 min so we came in which overwhelmed the staff (which wouldn’t have happened had they prepared the room like a normal competent sane hotel staff would have already done). The receptionist was unapologetic and downright rude. She didn’t deal with any problems or conflict head on which should be the first thing on a job description... absolutely awful at her job. My family had 4 rooms...after my father had made peace with the man with the cowboy hat things were fine. In fact, we checked in, showered and ate before leaving only to receive a call advising us that we were being abusive and disruptive and needed to leave. Why did it take them 3 whole hours to decide we were being abusive? (which we were NOT! We had also advised we were just tired and apologized for the confusion even though none of this was our fault. They advised they were short staffed and my family was annoyed but still understanding.) We were escorted out and threatened by some random guy who worked there. We were told their manager quit 4 days prior so I’m not sure if they just found a random man on the street and named him manager. Downright rude behaviour and disgusted with this hotel.

My wife was parking the car, and I was trying to open the front door to bring in our baggage etc. The front door has an incline up to it approximately 35" long. The door opens outward toward the incline, so I was trying to hold the door open and pull/push the cart inside. The clerk could clearly see I needed help but didn't even make an effort to come and help. Meanwhile things were falling off. Terrible service. The room was nice enough, but the bed was a noisy spring special and the 7 am garbage bin pickup outside the room was not appreciated.

Staff was really nice and polite. Rooms were good as well as.. breakfast options were fresh.

I am sorry air, please dont tell me I disnt stay in your hotel in Hinton, AB. We stayed there and reported our concerns to all hotel staff and the Manager, who never cared. You did serve us deplorable and your Manager said half way through, she ran out of powder pancakes. She picked up the last one from floor.

Positive: Close to Ricky¿s for breakfast since they don¿t offer breakfast right now, good location to get back onto the highway Negative: The front desk young lady wasn¿t very nice when checking in, room was super hot even with the a/c on all night and the bed was super squeaky

Positive: Location although not very scenic is good as it is on the highway with petrol stations and restaurants, malls close by. Rooms were super clean and comfy even though the hotel appears a little dated. Ample parking Negative: The breakfast spread was not as per expectations. All outsourced and frozen items. They should at least consider making available fresh omelets and some potatoes.
