From our humble origins as breakfast experts – to today’s menu with dozens of modern dishes for any time of the day, Ricky’s is a place where everyone feels at home.
Ricky’s opened its doors in Vancouver in 1962 as Ricky’s Pancake House, famous for buttermilk pancakes, value breakfast specials, and the very best service. Ricky’s expanded in the 1980s to include full lunch and dinner. As well, in 2014, Ricky’s acquired ABC Country Restaurants, a chain that had delivered great country fare for over 40 years. This merge brought together two great brands, both with a rich history of delivering exceptional food and service to Canadian families.
In 2017, the Ricky’s brand further expanded with the launch of Ricky’s Café, a new contemporary café concept with an express burger and sandwich bar and gourmet home meal takeout service. All while still serving the famous breakfasts and high quality lunch and dinner items Ricky’s is known for.
With ongoing expansion, including new locations opening in Alberta and BC, Ricky’s has 85+ locations across Canada to serve you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve got take out twice now they say it’ll take them 15-20 and Ive sat there for an extra 20 minutes each time, the portions of food you get in take out are most definitely not worth the prices they are making you pay. There is better places in brooks to go then here

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hash browns for both meals were undercooked. The waitress never came back. I ended up asking a another waitress for the bill I told her the food wasn’t that great. They gave us $5 off our bill. I could really careless about the discount. The food was just very disappointing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We made an appearance in the lounge on April the 13th. Upon entering we were immediately greated by our waitress who took our order. Even with the steak coming back undercooked (Ordered medium rare, received more of a blue rare). The management was quick to come to our table and apologize for not hitting the mark. He also let us know, That there was a new one on the way. Minus a few mistakes this place really impressed us. We will definitely be back. 4/5 Stars

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our server was a sweet young lady who was attentive but not bothersome, which I appreciated. Gave us space to socialize. Food was good,(except the gravy). Breakfast available till 4pm was a huge plus for me. Best eggs I've had in Brooks. Was clean and our group was happy with the overall experience ?!
