★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you need rentals, this is the place to go. On weekends, you might spend up to 2.5 hrs getting rentals on the ski resort. At Rick's shop, there are no line-ups, and you can reserve the equipment online. It is also cheaper, especially compared to rates at Blue Mountain: $89 + tax on a weekend, $69+ tax on workdays vs $55 + tax any day of the week at Rick's. The equipment is in excellent condition. My friend, who rented one day at the resort and the other at Rick's, said the resort rentals were total garbage. I looked at snowboards while waiting for my friend - they too had much better quality.
The shop is open until 9:30 pm, which gives you 30 min to return the equipment if you stay on the mountain until 9:00 pm.
Apart from skies and boards, the shop had some clothing and accessories for sale - not cheap but not outrageous prices either. Some fleece jackets and hoodies were a brand I had never heard of. The tag said it was a Norwegian brand, but the examination of the clothes revealed that they were made in China but designed in Norway. What a disappointment.
I don't know about skies, but the shop does not do snowboard repairs. While we were there, a guy came with a board to replace a torn piece of the binding. The staff said they could not do it, and I sent the guy to the Burton store in the village. If you need ski repairs, it is worth asking.
Bottom line: highly recommended rental shop with better prices and no hassle.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice and close to the hill (3 min from central) full day rental with return up to 9:30pm. Ski equipment was up to date, boots were good quality, ski edges were nice and sharp and bindings were set perfect. Will definitely be a repeat customer. Thanks to the crew!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good value rental service. I've rented from Rick's a few times this season and they provide quick, efficient service. The skis have been labelled and ready to go when I go there and there is not a lot of waiting around in comparison to other rental locations. Definitely recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ These guys were so easy to deal with. From online booking to convenient hours for pickup, I have no complaints. The staff are more than friendly and helpful. The equipment was great, the price was far better than expected, and I was in and out within 5 minutes. I have no problem recommending Rick's and will definitely use them for my future visits to Blue Mountain. Thanks a million guys!

Really quick and friendly service if you're looking for skis to rent in the Blue Mountain area. Was just a 5 minute drive from the Village - Much better prices than Blue Mountain too! Will definitely be coming back to Rick's to rent the next time we're back up :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have rented ski’s twice from Rick’s and they’re the absolute best! Everything is ready by the time you walk in through the door. You just need to try the boots on to make sure they fit.
The staff are super knowledgeable and friendly. It is much cheaper to rent from Rick’s than from the resort. Will definitely come back here for the rest of the season!
