For a family of 5 the room wasn't bad, but the pull out couch was a bit small for 3 kids we ended up making a make-shift bed for our 3 year old. The place was clean when we got there however there is a weird moldy smell. They also had a pool but be careful if you have small kids as it goes from shallow to deep with no gradual transition, there is a hot tub which was nice as well. The kitchen has a microwave, fridge and stove with an oven, we were able to cook our dinner and breakfast here if you want to save a bit of money. The shuttle service also runs 24hrs and will take you to the village if you don't want to use your own vehicle.

Loved it! The only reason I didn't give a 5 star is because we didn't get to experience the full resort. The pool was closed and we couldn't try the hot tub (my wife was pregnant) and we stayed in the most basic room, which didn't provide us a full Mountain Springs resort experience. HOWEVER.. We loved our room! It was clean and well equipped, the only thing we lacked was scissors and a can opener. We stayed for 6 nights and the staff was incredibly helpful! If we needed anything (clean sheets, directions, etc.) we just had to ask and they were on top of it! Also we were quite comfortable for our entire stay, the bed was extremely comfy! The room, although small, met all of our needs. Bed, sofa, kitchen with stove and fridge and dishwasher! And a bathroom with a jacuzzi style tub! We had a great selection of cable channels during the rainy days and the resort is located perfectly in between a beach on Georgian Bay and Blue Mountain Village! Within a 1-2 minute drive of each or 5 minutes by bike! Perfect for us! Mountain Springs Resort is a place my wife and I will certainly return to in the future! Can't wait to try out the pool and hot tub!

The outside of the unit was very dirty. Entrance to the unit, dirty rusted chair at the entrance, couch inside needs cleaning, Bad odor as we entered the unit. Missing lamp shade in bedroom. oven door fell off when we opened it. Some utnsils had food left on it. some pots and pans was very old and needs to be thrown out. Beds were uncomfortable and the sofa bed squeezed every turn. Also don't expect to sleep in as the light shines brightly in the morning from the lack of covering on the loft window. It looks like they are doing some renovations to the unit because some of the flooring was on the closets and the stairs was not nailed down properly as we could see the nails. Blue mountain was one of my favorite place to visit and usually we stay in the village. This time we tried here because we had more people. I am very disappointed

The room layout was fine but it smelt like fried onions no matter how much we tried to air out the room. The unit was worn down and in poor condition (damage to the ceiling, worn out carpet, etc). The location to get the shuttle into Blue is in an empty parking lot with no lights, it doesn't feel safe being left there at night. The kitchen appliances were good and the pool was nice but even so we will not be staying again, it's worth spending a little more to stay in the village.

I have stayed here twice and this place disappoints more each time. Very dirty place water damage everywhere, slide door to balcony didn’t want to open. Dishes not cleaned from previous stay. Dishes probably 20 years old they smell so bad cutting board gross to even look at. Oven covered in oil almost caused a fire. Fridge didn’t want to cool since it was off at arrival. Bathrooms just disaster painted toilet seats paint peeling off. Dead bugs on a floor fan hanging looked like it was about to fall. Entire structure of the building just not safe you walk on a floor apples on a island at the kitchen start rolling cause entire island leans. 2 stays and 2 exact same stories. Thought be a lot different second time by the look of the pictures what I was booking but room looked nothing like pictures.

My boyfriend and I had such a great time staying in this weekend. The rooms were so cute, enough for 2 people to stay. Once you open the door you immediately see a living room space, a queen size bed, with a small (& well stocked) kitchen that has all essentials. A bathroom is there as well. It's all neat and worth checking out. The only downside is that if your suite is at the lower level you'll hear the upstairs tenants walking around but otherwise I would recommend this place for a little weekend getaway!

The units were fantastic - 4 of us slept comfortably but we could have easily fit 2 more people. There were 2 washrooms in our unit and a fully functioning kitchen as well. The resort was clean and beautiful and the units were decorated very modern. Great experience!

We would not recommend this place. We had to cancel our 1 night stay and asked if they could wave or lower the cancellation fee because of the new Covid lock down that happened in late March (a few days before our booking). We called the owner of the place we were booking and was told that we can only pay the full cancellation fee or move to a later date. We agreed to move it to a later date and he told us to do it where we booked the room. Oddly enough there was no option to change the date or a messaging system in Booking.com for this location. So we called him back... no answer. tried again on a different day and a different time. Still no answer. We tried calling their office as well and they would not respond. so we decided to email them. Again no respond. We tried contacting booking.com customer service and they couldn't get in contact with the owner. So we were deemed a no show and only got 30% of what we paid back. The reason that the owner gave us for not waving or lowering the cancellation fee was that Covid is making it hard for everyone and they needed to make money and advised us to change the date. If we had known that this would happen we would have just payed the full cancellation fee instead of them taking more than what the cancellation fee was.
