Rexall

The gentleman Pharmacist was a pleasure, on my first prescription fill. Then on my second prescription, it took over a week dealing with the Pharmacy to get a sign-off by my Doctor with me going back and forth between phone calls. There was no follow-up by Rexall Pharmacy. Come to find out the Pharmacy requested the wrong medication to be re-filled. I spoke to the male Pharmacist, who said not to worry, when I come in he will give me enough to hold me until it gets corrected. Great, same as other Pharmacies do. The next day I went in to get my prescription. It wasn't ready. The female Pharmacist came over, I think her name was Ranini or something. She said the Doctor hadn't signed off. I asked if she was still going to give me my high blood pressure medication. She said not unless I take a blood pressure test on their machine. I'm like, excuse me? I refused. I said that it was not any of her business, that it was between myself and my Doctor. She would not give me my medication. I told her that I have been on the same medication for 32 years. Finally I agreed to take the blood pressure test just so I could get my meds. I took it. It was high of course. Then she told me I needed to go to the hospital. Are you kidding me? I said if she would just give me my medication than I could take it. I said, would you like me to go to the hospital and wait around there for at least 5 hours for them to give me blood pressure medication? Anyway, long story even longer....I was just arguing for nothing because she wanted to do what she wanted to do. So I said, I'm leaving and never coming back here again. I left. She calls me on my cell on my way home (I live just outside of Alliston) and says she has my prescription ready.....I laughed and said, too late I'll never be back again. Worst experience ever! I called my Doctors office the next day and had them fax over my prescription renewal to Walmart Pharmacy near my work, and picked it up at noon. Please, once I post this, no need to reply for me to contact any number. Won't be bothering.

If I could give the pharmacy and pharmacist zero stars I would, very rude and unprofessional

Unsafe for customers. The pharmacist and staff at the Bolton store were wearing face masks below their nose. Wearing a mask protects others and is now mandatory. if you are a person who is vulnerable for COVID-19 I would avoid shopping at this store. When I advised the Pharmacist that the staff should be wearing face coverings properly they smirked at me. A lack of leadership.

The service and cleanliness in this store is top notch. The staff are friendly, helpful and go out of their way to serve customers. Special thank you to Jason who was just heading on a break from post office duty and paused his break to check-in all my packages. This customer service doesn’t go unnoticed and is very much appreciated.

Terrible customer service at the pharmacy. I’ve picked up medication multiple times here and each time I’ve been ignored... pharmacists act like they don’t see or hear you when you approach the desk. I also had an issue where I was overcharged for a medication and as I went back to address it, the pharmacist acted like I was the one at fault. She said she refunded me but when I left the store I noticed that she recharged me the same amount. Didn’t even bother to go back in and argue again with her. Ridiculous and frustrating. Will not be returning to Rexall to pick up my prescriptions.

If you love getting put on hold for an extremely long time this pharmacy is for you! Hire more staff if you cannot keep up with the workflow. Will be going to an independent pharmacy to receive more exceptional customer service.

Don't worry about waiting in line, cause the pharmacy will just help their friends before the customers clearly waiting in line.

At Rexall Bolton I was fortunate to be helped by a friendly and knowledgeable Pharmacist, Michael who not only listened to the ‘extenuating circumstances’ that come with transferring new prescriptions to a new town pharmacy, he problem solved with a most positive outcome. Thank you Pharmacist Michael, nice to meet you.
