★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Remedy's food and drinks are always good but the Service at this location has to be some of the worst I have experienced.
I order my food and waited 30min to find out the kitchen didn't receive my order. At this time I noticed they were starting to close out the till at 930pm a full 30min before they close. They put my order through and offer compensation for the trouble and I told them it wasn't necessary and went back to my table. Another 30min rolls by and I finally have my food and asked if I could get a giftcard for some drinks for the trouble when she told me she couldn't because I had my food now but the real reason was that they closed the till a half hour early.
Also at immediately at 10pm she walked around and told everyone they were closed and everyone had to leave.
Complete joke of service, the location guves Remedy a bad rep.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My most recent purchase was a disappointment. My daughter was kind enough to pick me up some butter chicken and rice the other day. It is a treat that I especially look forward to because the flavor is different from other places I have tried. This time however I am not sure I can even bring myself to eat the leftovers. The sauce is too sweet, the chicken too chewy, and the rice, while still ok, is missing something. I used to go out of my way to treat myself to Better Chicken at Remedy, but now I will skip it for fear of getting another disappointing batch.

I understand the colder it is the more likely people are to buy hot drinks but you keep the temperature so cold I literally cannot come here anymore. it’s -30 outside and it barely feels any warmer inside. It’s unbearable to sit in and I’d rather just go sit at another cafe comfortably.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Okay! This location much better run than some, and in a terrific location. Friendly staff. It seems they struggle with staffing at present due to pandemic possibly. Food is tasty, but if you order a hot item, it's best to think of it like a sit down restaurant for wait time rather than a coffee shop turnaround time.
Speaking of coffee- it is ok. Not on par with competition. Chai is what to get here

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The blonde lady was quite rude when I wanted to order 2 slices of cakes and i felt she purposefully cut the slices much smaller than the usual portions that we get.
Not worth the $15.
Not only that, when my fiancee had ordered awhile back, the same cashier she treated her bad as well.
Were not planning on going to this location and willing to drive to White Ave since they have much better service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a funky coffee shop! Great menu with a large and varied selection of drinks and snacks. The chai tea and samosas were fantastic (I reccomend the duty chai). There is a lot of seating available, unique artwork, and the staff were very friendly. Would definitely visit again!
