Fuss Cupcakes - Edmonton

Great customer service, excellent selection, gluten free and vegan options. Nice little store. What matters most is that the cupcakes themselves are phenomenal. We'll be back for more.:)

I have been hunting gluten free cakes and cupcakes for my kids for long time. After I found these guys they have best tasting cupcakes and cakes for my kids. They always love Fusscupcakes different varieties of cupcakes. I also like their customer service because whenever I call them or walk in, they are always friendly and supportive. Different varieties or Gluten Free stuff always attracts me going in here. Thank you guys for doing awesome jobs as my kids are really happy to have tasty treats..... hurray....

As I didn't get a receipt at time of purchase as I didn't expect to have any issues with the product, and their website states an original receipt is needed for refund, I'm out of pocket for this "learning experience", but I want to save anyone else the cost and embarrassment that I experienced serving family the substandard, stale, fishy tasting products the South Edmonton's Terwillegar Fuss Cupcake location is pushing out the door. Cupcakes and cakes are meant to be shared with friends and loved ones celebrating special occasions, and you absolutely wouldn't want to serve anyone you loved anything like I was convinced to purchase from their store clerk on Mother's Day 2021. Save yourself the money and disappointment and either choose a different Fuss Cupcakes location, or another business all together if you plan to serve anyone else their products. I went into the Terwillegar location on Mother's Day 2021 one hour before closing intending to purchase 12 cupcakes for my Mom to eat after our Mother's Day dinner, but was convinced by the store clerk to instead buy a ready-made 7" cake in the showcase...so I walked out with the cake and 6 cupcakes totalling $46.15 (full price). Within 2 hours of purchase, we bit into the cake to discover that not only was it at least a week old (or longer - it was incredibly dry, stale and the icing was so incredibly tough - even for fondant it was hard and dried out, no wonder she was trying hard to push it out the door and get full price for it)...the icing tasted very fish-flavoured - which is not what a person expects when eating cake. I also recall, after purchasing cupcakes at the Terwillegar location in April 2021 for a birthday, at least one had that weird fishy-flavour to it which I assumed might have just been an issue with one of the cupcake's icing...but now with this separate incident having a whole cake tasting fishy as well (that likely sat around their store for many, many, many days absorbing odours and tastes), I suspect the odours from the neighbouring Asian restaurant Fuss Cupcakes shares a wall with may be tainting their baked products (shared ventilation between businesses or the products are stored in a fridge/cooler/area where staff store their lunches that might be tainting the flavour of the baked goods/icing...just a guess though - what other excuse could there be for fish-flavoured icing on at least 2 separate occasions). Regardless, the food quality isn't something I can trust anymore so I won't be shopping at this location again which is disappointing because I've been a Fuss Cupcakes fan for over 8 years but this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth...literally.

Fuss cupcakes is always our go-to for a sweet treat. When it came to choosing someone to make our wedding cake, the choice was obvious. Fuss made us the most beautiful 2 tiered wedding cake. It was an equal combination of modern, delicious and chic. We met with Amrit, Kiran and Vimmy during the consultation process. They were all incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and experienced. The girls at Fuss also worked with us to determine the appropriate about of assorted cupcakes to order for our guest count. As well, they took initiative and decorated the cupcakes to match our wedding colours. We loved all of the gold and acrylic accents! Fuss was also incredibly helpful by renting us their beautiful acrylic cake stand. It went perfectly with our wedding decor. Thank you to the team at Fuss cupcakes! We are so thankful for all of you, and we’re excited to eat the second tier of our wedding during our first wedding anniversary!!

What is not to love about Fuss Cupcakes?! All their cupcake flavours are delicious and their custom cakes are amazing, staff and customer service is top notch. They go above and beyond with pleasing and making sure their customers are happy and this has always been my experience going to the store. You will not be disappointed when you order a custom cake or just stopping by for a sweet treat from Fuss Cupcakes!

Always enjoy these cupcakes. The frosting and cake compliment each other and both are delicious. They have a set repertoire of flavours plus four feature menus that rotate weekly. The staff is friendly and always a good selection.

I had a birthday yesterday (Jan.31st), and my family got me some Fuss cupcakes for desert, instead of a traditional cake. My very favourite kind is vanilla with vanilla icing, cloud 9 it is called, I believe. Their cupcakes (and cakes) are out of this world, delicious, exquisite, heavenly, and divinely scrumptious!!! I will go no where else to buy my cupcakes and cakes. They are light, and flavourful, and the icing is so good, it's not very sweet, yet rich and yummy, it's my all time favourite. And they have so many different flavours to choose from it's hard to make the choice! If they ever go out of business I will absolutely cry!

I needed a cake for my mom's birthday and the team expertly helped pick the perfect size and colour scheme. The cake was beautifully decorated exactly how I wanted it and it was ready for the next day. I am thankful to fuss cupcakes for making my mom's special day even better! With amazing customer service and delicious treats this is my go to bakery.
