★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The guy who was running it the night I went was amazing. I went in for work boots and left with a new understanding of footwear. Very cheer filled fellow who even saved me a bit of money in the end pointing out a way to save a bit. Will definitely be going back whenever I need anything work related. He even sewed on a pull tab on the back of my boots just because I mentioned my boots were hard to get on sometimes. Very much appreciate his level of customer service.

I've only been there a few times but I recognize the main staff member, who always offers a cheerful greeting and actual product knowledge. The in-store shoe/boot repair is a helpful service, and they offer plain honest advice about the workability of a possible repair.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went in to see Ed earlier this afternoon, and I had a voucher waiting for me to spend. He was really helpful and didn't pressure sell anything. I bough steel toed boots and bibbed coveralls. The total would've been more than what my voucher was for, he worked his magic and my new total came under the voucher cost. Very stress free for me. Thank you Ed.

I've been buying gear from Mark's for years and decided it was time to buy my first pair of Red Wings. I looked online for recommendations and saw this place, which I've never heard of before. I walked in and the salesman was extremely friendly and helpful. I tried on a few pairs of boots and walked out of there with my purchase. The next day at work, I noticed they were too small and I was having major discomfort. Of course I panicked, thinking that I wore them, so I was stuck with them. I brought them back that evening and he traded them for a larger pair, telling me my comfort was his concern. This kind of hassle free, friendly customer service is how it should be everywhere. I will recommend this store to everyone and anyone I work with. They have gained a lifetime customer out of me. This place is unbeatable in price and service. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Walked in and staff members were sitting visiting with each other. One finally said hello to me when I made eye contact, but they were more interested to discuss how cold it was going to be that evening than ask me if I wanted any help so I made a loop around the store then went and spent $600 at Wei's. Looks like they have a pretty good selection, I didn't check prices since they didn't appear to have what I was looking for.
