About Red Barn Mercantile
Red Barn is a unique seasonal store/greenhouse in the heart of Okotoks, Alberta. We are open April to December offering garden decor and plants in the Spring/Summer and then switch over to a Christmas store from October to December.
We specialize in deluxe hanging baskets and planters, succulents, tropicals and fabulous farmhouse & rustic decor. We switch over to a unique Christmas store with lots of fresh greenery and rustic decor. We offer workshops and attend many different markets throughout the year.
We strive to find new & exciting items to make the store & greenhouse a special and worthwhile destination in Okotoks!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have visited a few times now at the Calgary Farmers Market and the staff there are always so incredibly helpful. I’ve killed every plant I’ve ever owned but I now have two plants from Red Barn that i’ve been able to keep alive for a few weeks (so far) thanks to the help from the staff there. The products are gorgeous and reasonably priced. Staff is super helpful and friendly and not at all judgemental of my millions of questions :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a lovely visit after the Millarville Christmas Market where we met the owner. She had beautiful planters and arrangements of all sizes. The staff at the store were so friendly and engaging. They have workshops as well so I’m excited to try one of those. I met Brian who made a custom beautiful wreath for me - I am a huge fan and they are worth the drive out from Calgary. I’m thrilled to have gorgeous outdoor planter and wreath so early for the holiday season.
